I was tossed out of a Convention of States meeting in Nashville TN tonight.

I applied online to this very public meeting and received a ticket to attend. Immediately upon arriving, I said my name and I was surrounded immediately by COS employees and escorted out.

I demanded that I be able to attend this very important meeting but was told that because COS paid for the room they can determine who attends and who does not. I asked if I could speak with my State Senator Mike Bell and Mr Clark, a COS Regional Director said I could call him but he had not talked to him. I then asked for Mark Meckler and he said he was not attending this meeting.

My State Senator Mike Bell as well as Sheila Butt, Bill Ketron and Jay Reedy were inside with 5 other State Legislators reportedly. I was told this meeting was for them, this was the purpose. My question is what about the people who will be affected by these proposed changes and the fear that comes with a runaway convention.

I was told that I was a “potential disruptive threat” and that I was “Red Flagged” by someone in the organization. I was not disturbing a thing and even gave them my word that disruption was not my intent, I only wanted to learn more about this process. After all, I was told on two occasions to come to the meeting so “I could learn what it is about.”

At first I was angry then sad. I saw a slice of America that was not part of my country. In my opinion, they are attempting to put our Constitution in the trash and are not even allowing a conflicting opinion enter the room. There is a collective spookiness about this group of “conservatives!” I have not completely figured it out but I’m piecing it together.

The COS Regional Director first name I believe was Kevin, last name Clark, he was very nice but was visibly being directed by someone above him in the decision to toss me from the meeting. This display of tyrannical behavior by a “Conservative group” is completely unacceptable and begs all opposing to study this group and I would suggest we follow the money. Something is not right about it. I believe there is an agenda behind the agenda. Just a hunch, but I’m usually right about these things.

A task as big as changing our Constitution and putting our country at great risk, this group should be accountable to the people not just the politicians that will be called upon to call a convention. Secrets and “Private” meetings within a Republic is not the way things get done and it leaves the people with little input. This Constitution is also mine to protect. Those trying to pervert it in my opinion are enemy number one. This is a very sensitive issue with me as well as millions of other freedom loving Americans. Co-opting anyone’s freedom papers like the Constitution should never be allowed to act this way unimpeded.

One thing that I have drawn from this fiasco is it has only strengthened my resolve to make sure a Con Con does not come together in TN and across the nation. My cage has been rattled and that energy will spill over into our efforts to stop a Con Con.

The actions by COS tonight shows me that perhaps this animal has grown too big and out of touch with the people they are suppose to represent.

We have our work cut out for us. Continue to spread the word and direct people to this site. It’s crucial that we have great numbers to confront this gulag.

Listen up America!

I have something very serious on my mind. I’ve stepped away from reporting for a minute and I just wanna talk!

I thinks it’s high time we have a conversation about this subject before the usurpers and infiltrators destroy our country.

I am looking down the road a bit and what I see could potentially ruin our country and change it forever.

There is a large group of people actively seeking to amend or change our Constitution forever.

In my opinion, these people, which I’ll name in another article are being co-opted and directed by people not interested in keeping America great. They unfortunately see this country as too mighty but realize it is in a weakened state. I believe they are taking this opportunity to change the most sacred document, aside from the bible, that this country owns.

I know many of these people personally and have had a great relationship with them. I don’t understand why they do not see that this process could very well unwind the fiber that holds us together and keeps us free.

Why can’t they see that some of the purveyors of this call for a convention are not good people.

Why are we not vetting those we choose to get our advice from? Where is the call to differentiate between good and evil?

Why are we believing the lies expelled from these same people who have a track record and associates within their groups that have and want to destroy our country?

Are we so blind with our “Christian values” that we don’t see evil when it stares us in the face?

Regardless of whether you call it a Convention of States, a Con Con, Constitutional Convention, an Article V Convention, a state or Congressional led Convention, the end product could lead to a single change or a complete rewrite of the most sacred document that has protected our freedom for several hundred years.

Any path or entry point that is breached could lead to a complete Article V Convention where our Constitution could be ripped apart and never seen again.

I have grown tired of the play on words as many attempt to justify their actions of backing a COS with one excuse after another. We need to stop and face the fact and realize that if we play with fire we may get burned!

Sure, it’s Constitutional and it is our right to do so, but to open it up for the vultures to pick at is not a good thing and the timing is horrible. In case you haven’t noticed, we have a president that has said the Constitution is an old outdated document, we have known socialist and communist in our elected chambers. This leads me to believe someone wants it changed!

There are some very bad people and groups out there that are just waiting to inject their non-American agendas into it once it is opened. How do I know this? Research it! It’s there!

I keep hearing this same lame offering for pushing for an Article V Convention of states over and over. “We are gonna only suggest one or two items to be amended!” Hello? Earth to Conservative groups! So will everyone else! It will be like a dinner for two being crashed by oh maybe a million other people with their own special interest agenda items too.

To my understanding and I’m sure I will be corrected but there is no limit on the number of delegates to be assigned, although we get only one vote per state, the room on that day could and probably will be filled with countless people or delegates. Can you imagine that many people trying to decide on one subject? It will quickly heighten to many subjects, I’m sure.

I am astounded at the response this action has had on “conservatives and conservative groups”, mainly Tea Party Leaders and their groups. It has turned them into zombies aimlessly wandering around with their flesh rotting off. This leads me to believe they were co-opted by special interest groups, lobbyists and perverted politicians and other subversive types. To me there is no other reason. Someone has sold them a bill of goods and they sold the farm over it!

It beats all I have ever seen.

I believe so strongly in this Article V Convention NOT going forward that I have isolated myself from this pack and have chosen to make a stand outside of the current arena I used to call “true conservatives!” Perhaps, by stepping outside this box I have defined that true line of conservative and a conservative in name only. I have always known that line has existed, I have never stepped over it. Never really had to worry about it till now. This has not been a popular move but I’m certain it’s the right one. History will tell us I’m afraid.

Our world, our country as we know it could drastically change if these folks open up our Constitution to a huge pack of wolves. I am not gonna apologize for my stance, I made it and I’ll stand on it regardless of the fall out. I believe that much that it is a huge mistake to pursue amending the Constitution. If this convention goes forward and it goes as I expect, I’ll not wiggle my finger at those involved or shake my head, I’ll more than likely bow my head, pray and wipe the tears from my eyes. Our country ruined by those fighting to save it. Wow! I can’t stand thinking about it.

27 states have already approved applications for a convention or CON CON based on a single item, to pass a balanced budget amendment. 9 other states under Republican control are also calling for a convention to make changes. 34 is the magic number to conduct a Convention. TN must not follow this path, if already committed, it needs to be rescinded. And every politician that is behind this movement should be called and warned of its implications.

My greatest fear is that enough states will align, the delegates assigned, the doors will close and a free for all to change our Constitution will ensue.

Please take note there are very few rules or limitations in the Constitution to limit the actions of the “appointed” delegates or the direction they may take when they get there. This is a very dangerous move based on the political climate that now exists in our country and in all branches of our government.

Can you imagine the heist of our delegates by special interest groups and lobbyist aiding in the process?

I imagine the delegate selection process to simply be a highest bidder war. Where the special interest group or lobbyist who pays the most gets the delegate designation. Think it couldn’t happen? Ever been on the floor of the house or watched CSPAN on a big vote day. It’s interesting to watch as one person runs to another and the process repeats over and over.

With that thought in mind, can you imagine what would happen inside a room of lobbyist, er……. delegates and the bidding begins…..with few rules and immunity from prosecution? Whoa! Before you know it, we have a severely modified or completely rewritten Constitution. There are very few guidelines on how the convention will be conducted or even if the ratification process will work unaltered.

A CON CON or whatever you call it is just too risky! Our country is worth more to me than to see it taken away because political hacks and others want it changed.

Just remember by any name you call it, any route you choose to get there the result could be the same. A complete rewrite or a runaway convention could happen. The last time it was done it was a runaway and fortunately there was enough Godly men guarding the decision making, today? Not so much!

Could it be done the right way and only one amendment be passed? Sure. Is it likely it would go this way? Simply put NO!

The Constitution is not our problem, those we elect are the problem and the people influencing them. If we want lower taxes, federal restraint, a balanced budget, safer streets, parental control or whatever, simply apply pressure to those elected bodies to act and vote the way you want. Demand they obey the Constitution and punish them if they don’t! The 18 enumerated powers is all the Feds can do! It’s pretty confining as is.The rest is allowed by the people and those we send to our state houses and to DC! Get the lobbyist and special interest groups out of our houses and you will see great change!

We don’t have a Constitution problem, we have a people problem.

The Chattanooga Times-Free Press has started a database of all homicide victims in Hamilton County. It is called The Toll.

It includes details of all the stories and deaths of those taken from us by violence.

That is indeed a worthy endeavor.

However…Included in this database as a “victim” is Mohammad Abdulazeez…the Islamic terrorist who murdered 5 U.S. servicemen (and injured a police officer) in Chattanooga last July.

In fact, his profile is listed right next to the real victims that day.

The “suspects” as listed by the Times are “Five unidentified police officers.”

To say that this is offensive would be a ridiculous understatement.

He should be removed and his “victim profile” should be discarded. He was the murderer.

He was a terrorist.

He attacked American citizens on our soil. And the “suspects” kept him from killing more innocent people.

The outrage I feel at this is immeasurable.

This is an unbelievable attack on our servicemen and our country!

Please feel to call the CTFP and voice your disgust! I have not been this enraged by a leftist MSM article in a long time! We have reached an all time low in this country!

Dozens and dozens of taxpayer-funded Tennessee school districts are refusing to comply with an open records request from a conservative legal nonprofit seeking materials and documents relevant to the way public schools are teaching Islam — primarily to middle schoolers.

The American Center for Law & Justice, a law firm that generally promotes conservative and Christian principles, sent its open records requests to all 146 taxpayer-funded school districts in Tennessee earlier this month, reports The Tennessean, Nashville’s main newspaper.

A Nashville attorney, Chuck Cagle of the law firm Lewis Thomason, has provided almost 80 school districts (all represented by the firm) with a sample letter which district officials are customizing to deny the conservative group’s open records request.

“Our client denies your request in full,” the sample letter reads. “Among many other defects in your demand, the Tennessee Open Records Act only requires that certain public records be made available for personal inspection by Tennessee citizens. See Tenn. Code Ann. § 10-7-503(a)(1)(B). A public records request made by an agent on behalf of a foreign business entity is invalid.”

An attorney for the Washington, D.C.-based American Center for Law & Justice, CeCe Heil, says Cagle is applying his Tennessee law all wrong.

“We deal with government entities regularly and anticipate the necessity of engaging in negotiations pertaining to the actual documentation received,” Heil told The Tennessean in an email. “Our open records requests are valid and signed by an attorney who is a citizen of Tennessee.”

Also, Heil noted, the ACLJ is requesting the records because anxious Tennessee parents contacted its attorneys.

The ACLJ’s open records request is definitely broad. The conservative activist group is seeking every test, every quiz, every lesson plan, every study guide and every bit of instructional material concerning the teaching of religion in all Tennessee public school districts. The request specifies anything asking students to recite words in Arabic or to say or write Muslim prayers. It also seeks internal communications concerning how classroom materials were chosen.

“I’ve never seen a records request that asked for this volume of information in 25 years of practicing law,” Cagle, the professional school district lawyer, complained.

Cagle has also claimed that compliance with an open records request about what schools are teaching is not feasible because it will take too long to respond and cost too much money.

“On the front end, this could cost school boards hundreds of thousands, if not millions of dollars to respond to this request,” Cagle told Nashville NBC affiliate WSMV.

The open records request is related to a grassroots reaction among parents — primarily evangelical Christian parents — against what they perceive as an inappropriate focus on Islam in history and social studies courses in Tennessee middle schools.

Earlier this month, for example, parents in the Nashville suburb of in Spring Hill expressed alarm because their public middle school children are learning about Islam in a world history class but, the parents say, the course material pointedly ignores Christianity. Mad mom Brandee Porterfield, who has a seventh-grade daughter at Spring Hill Middle School in Spring Hill, Tenn., said her daughter came home with world history schoolwork all about the Five Pillars of Islam and other core teachings of the Abrahamic religion. The first and most important pillar — the shahada in Arabic — is roughly translated as: “There is no god but God. Muhammad is the messenger of God.” Porterfield said her daughter’s teacher instructed the girl to write: “Allah is the only God.”

A petition initiated by the American Center for Law & Justice entitled “Stop Islamic Indoctrination in School” had garnered 201,505 signatures as of early Wednesday morning.

A spokesman for the Islamic Center of Nashville, Rashed Fakhruddin, said he thinks both the ACLJ’s open records request and the claim that schools are teaching too much Islam are preposterous.

“I don’t know if this is meant to be a witch hunt, but all of the religions — Islam, Christianity, Judaism, Buddhism, Hinduism — they’re being taught in the schools,” Fakhruddin told WSMV.

In addition to Islam, students in Tennessee public schools also study Buddhism and Hinduism. However, they do not study Christianity per se. There is not, for example, one class day dedicated to the basic Jesus story.

A Spring Hill school district official promised that students eventually come across a reference to Christianity when history teachers reach the “Age of Exploration” in eighth grade. Then, students will hear about Christians persecuting other Christians in some countries in Western Europe.
