BCC 2035 Growth plan gets thumbs up, suggest bypassing County Commission for approval and changes

Bradley County planning meeting:
February 11, 2014
Tuesday, 6 pm
Bradley County Courthouse

2/12/14
0917

Tuesday evening the Bradley County Planning Commission voted to move forward with the BCC 2035 Growth Plan with one NO vote coming from member Mike Graves.

The wildly unpopular plan that has met much County disapproval over the last 2 years was approved regardless of the people’s voice.

In fact, approximately one year ago at a 3 day Charette the plan per community survey was knocked down with a 73 percent unfavorable ruling.

The results were so bad that an Independent team using video cameras had to compile the results for public consumption because Mr Dale did not want to publish the terrible results.

Greg Dale of McBride Dale and Clarion, at the Charette, was quoted as saying in all his years he has never seen one community come together and voice this much opposition over a growth plan.

The evening meeting at the Bradley County Courthouse was a relatively short one lasting nearly an hour. Interestingly enough, upon entering the room, before the meeting, I overheard one unknown person say from the front of the room “aaah, get prepared for a long night!”

I interpreted that statement to mean a local unelected board is going to have to listen to the people that have to pay the bills and maybe answer a few questions and they will not like it. These responses evoked upon entering the room are small victories and confirm my saying “that where the flak is heaviest, the target is confirmed.” It reinforces the reason we do what we do. I wiped the grin off my face in anticipation of what was to come and listened closely.

Indeed, the night was short as the usual drain of business was gotten out of the way, the commission proceeded toward approval.

A few rezoning questions were answered and a few projects approved. The meeting went off without a hitch and we heard from a few residents from the Hopewell/Georgetown area.

The newly appointed County Planner Bentley Thomas  was conducting the meeting and moving right along until……a statement was made that caused many jaws to drop in the room.

Mr Thomas suggested and I’m
paraphrasing (I didn’t bring my recorder) that it be considered in the future, that this body, the Planning Commission become the ultimate decision maker when it comes to implementation and changes made to the BCC Growth Plan, simply bypassing the County Commissioners all together and leave the decision making up to planning commission. You know, bypass the voting body that represents the people of Bradley County and do what you want.

A lead balloon would have bounced better than that suggestion did. Discussion and the opinions of audience participants after the meeting suggested this man had probably been prompted by “higher powers” to test the waters and see how this approach would fly. Well it didn’t sit well particularly with the citizens in the room.

I quickly texted a few friends in the room to confirm what I just heard was right and indeed I heard correctly. I fully expect to see the local media leave this very important issue out of any future articles, how be it that the circumvention of the citizens and their elected representatives be reported in a liberal media outlet.

What a revelation? What an epic power grab by elitist? An attempt to bypass the people and the duly elected to turn  all the power over to a dictatorial and perhaps unconstitutional order of procedure. Will be interesting to see how the County Commission reacts to this  one.

Planning member Mike Graves answered Commissioner Tom Cryes request for comments from the commission about objections to the plan. Mr Graves voiced that in it’s current form he could not provide a yes vote to move forward and would vote NO. There was little discussion about the specifics of the  issues and he didn’t go into great detail.

Prior to the final vote, small talk took over the tone of the meeting and a general feeling in the air was that very few, if any, had even read the “new and revised ” plan they were getting ready to approve. It was a Nancy Pelosi type moment, “Let’s read it after we approve it, to see what is in it.”

A few of the Commissioners were approached after the meeting and told BCN that they had looked over it and read the summary of the document. None questioned could provide detail or specifics of the plan. Also, no copy of the plans were available but Mr Thomas offered to email me a link to the plan.

Local activist, County Commissioner Candidate and Tea Party of SETN Dan Rawls approached the bench and asked a few questions before the approval vote was cast.

“Is this plan tied into the 16 County Regional plan” was the first question lobbied toward Mr Thomas and the Commission.

Mr Thomas replied and said the BCC 2035 plan was tied to the 16 County  Regional Plan but couldnt specify how or in what capacity. He went on to say it was mentioned but could not recall on what page or exactly what it said. Concerns over duplicating our efforts was expressed and why duplicate and spend money we don’t have.

Mr Rawls also encouraged the Commission to read both plans and familiarize themselves with it before they went much further into the approval process.

Despite objections and the assumed non reading of the plan, the vote was then cast with one NO vote and the approval to move forward on the plan was approved.

Let the Charettes begin! Of soccer moms and sinister U.N. plots! A planners charade!

In Agenda 21 on April 16, 2012 at 10:19 PM

Charettes! The mere sound of it sounds like something from the United Nations and linked to Agenda 21! Well, surprise it is commonly used by the UN to describe the visioning sessions being held by our devoted Bradley County Planners at the Bradley Square Mall from 10 am to 7 pm Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday!

Just google United Nations, Agenda 21 and Charrettes and see how often planners and minions of the UN use the word! Just look it up!

There is not even enough “shock value” to draw attention to this dastardly word and it’s close relationship to the UN! The mention of the UN has become common place in our community to our planners. It is up to us to continue to expose this diabolical encroachment on our property rights and freedoms!

Just listen to this soccer mom and her adventure through another “Charrette” in yet another County getting inundated by Agenda 21 for federal dollars!

The blindness is almost comical if it weren’t so tragic!

Of soccer moms and sinister U.N. plots
By Katharine Wroth

It all started innocently enough. I saw a notice in my local paper that my small town would be holding a strategic planning meeting, part of an effort to resuscitate it from the post-industrial malaise that has left so many New England towns in the economic dumps. I’ve never been particularly active in town, but curiosity got the best of me, so I ventured to the local high school on a Saturday morning, parked my car, and crunched across the gravel-strewn lot.

“Are you here for the charrette?” asked a friendly, dark-haired woman in a black coat, who was standing by the path to the door. I said I was, and she handed me a piece of paper. “This is just a guide to some of the language they’ll be using inside,” she explained with a pleasant smile. I took it, thanked her, and continued walking, reading as I went.

The first item on the list said, “You are about to be manipulated.” Hm, I thought. That’s sort of an odd approach, but probably intended to get us thinking creatively. I skipped past the definition of charrette to item No. 3, which told me the plan was to “steer an unsuspecting group into ‘reaching consensus’” — hang on. Unsuspecting? And what was with the air quotes? I scanned the rest of the flyer, and there it was in bold type: Agenda 21.

Suddenly this local planning session had taken on sinister undertones. Now we were enveloped in an international conspiracy, one that would impinge on our liberties and rob us of our rights! And all before most people had even had their coffee.

Grist has written before about the hackle-raising ability of Agenda 21, a United Nations sustainable development plan adopted in 1992. Here are the dastardly goals laid out in that document: “fulfillment of basic needs, improved living standards for all, better protected and managed ecosystems, and a safer, more prosperous future.”

Basic needs met? Living standards improved? Shud-der.

Do I wish Agenda 21 didn’t have a name that sounded like a two-bit spy movie? Of course. I have a feeling if it were called “Hey World, Let’s All Be Safer and More Prosperous,” it wouldn’t be half so alluring a target. But even then it would no doubt have its detractors, those who fear being told what to do by anyone outside the four walls they call home.

So I want that woman from my town, and others who share her views, to know what happened inside that school gym, at that fancily named charrette. For three hours, we talked in groups large and small about our hopes for the future. Young, old, parents, business owners, people who have lived all over the country and people who have never lived anywhere else. Here are a few of the scary things that were said:

A father of three said he wished there were more to do with his family downtown so he could spend his money to support local businesses.
A mother of two who coaches soccer advocated for improvements to the athletic facilities so people from other towns would see us more positively.
An elderly woman hoped for a new senior center because her quilting group had grown so dramatically that some of them now had to quilt in the hallway.
A woman suggested relocating the downtown train station so people could have better access to it, and so businesses could flourish around it.
Several people said they’d like to see an old-fashioned movie theater in town, one that was affordable and family-friendly.
A school principal said it would be great to find ways to build stronger connections between schoolchildren and senior citizens, the two largest groups in our population.
Weirdly, the U.N. operatives in sunglasses and trenchcoats — the ones who had come to force their horrific vision of safety and prosperity on us — didn’t talk much, just lurked in the corners and whispered to each other occasionally.

As the meeting progressed, I kept an ear out for the bolded terms the flyer had warned me to watch out for: sustainable development, smart growth, sustainable communities, green jobs, visioning, and land-use study, all of which were erroneously described as “common euphemisms for Agenda 21.” I heard exactly one of those terms used at my table, as our small group was making a list of our top goals for the town. “We should probably mention smart growth,” said a local realtor. “Though I think that’s an oxymoron.”

Turns out people don’t tend to talk a whole lot about sustainable development and visioning, sneaky U.N. plots notwithstanding. We talk instead about kids, and money, and jobs held or lost, and how we get around, and where our food comes from, and where our taxes go. We want good schools and strong health and money to spare. These conversations are happening in communities all over the country, as people work to make better places for themselves and their families. And that’s what sustainability is all about. No one used the term that day, but it was there in every breath. By definition, sustainability is life, and how we choose to live it. It’s not a dirty word.

Speaking of dirty words, that propaganda in my pocket defined charrette as a “final, intensive effort to finish a project before a deadline.” That’s partly true. But so is this: “A charrette is a meeting to resolve a problem or an issue … [incorporating] useful ideas and perspectives from concerned interest groups.” Of all the concerned interest groups, that woman in the black coat was the concerned-iest. I wish she had come inside with her fellow townspeople to find out what was really happening in there, and to put forth her own hopes for the place we all call home.

TN State Executive Committeewoman links Comprehensive Plans to Agenda 21

In Agenda 21 on April 4, 2012 at 10:05 AM

It was only a matter of time before our politicians would finally see the light. The RNC, the GOP, select Democrats and State Executive Committeewoman Sally Absher are now speaking loudly and are talking about the dreaded Regional Growth Plan and it’s close ties to Agenda 21.

Also on board recently and sounding the alarm is Tn State Executive Committee Woman Peggy Lambert and State Senator Jim Summerfield!

On the flip side, the opposite is true in Bradley County and the region! Chattanooga/ICLEI/Recalled Mayor Ron Littlefield/Beth Jones/Bradley Planner Corey Divel/Mayor Gary Davis/Mayor Tom Rowland and many others in Bradley County are still pushing the Agenda 21 Growth Plan as the “plan of all plans” despite warnings from within their own party!

Please stay tuned and read the letter below from Sally Absher! You will clearly see the line of demarcation that is continuing to divide our state! Some continue to move forward, while others like Sally, Peggy and Jim are attempting to halt it!

I can’t figure why the “powers that be”, the decision “makers and shakers” of this huge unconstitutional tax burdened, highly regulated, land grabbing growth project are still moving forward as fast as they can while their State Executives and the RNC are saying halt!

On the other hand, I believe I do understand! As a father of three, I think I am qualified to make this judgement call. They are acting as a child in a candy store wanting that one piece of candy they can’t have. In this case that one big federal grant, and they are lying on the floor, on their back and are kicking and screaming, “Daddy told me if I was a good boy, I could get that piece of candy or in this case a few measly million dollars of grant money, and I’m gonna lay here and resist till I get my way!” “Because the Mayors are saying its good for the local economy!!!”

It is obvious to me that special interest, lobbyist, the PPPs and the NGOs have got our politicians ear, not the parties that are representative of the people! This is the sadness of all this!

We are witnessing the slide of our political machine that is supposed to be representative of the people, melt off into the abyss! Our local, State and Federal bureaucrats have let the proverbial cheese fall off the cracker! The lust for money, the promise of power, greed and a misdirected plan has hijacked our local representatives and are unfortunately are influencing their decisions!

They are no longer representatives of the people but are minions, stooges, dare I say, “useful idiots” of an International Socialist engineering scheme that has captured and took over any decision making skills they may have had!

I feel sorry for the whole lot! Can you imagine where they are now! They have gone from, in a very short time of being the hero, the bringer (if that’s a word) home of the big piece of the pie to the persons who are now being held responsible for engineering the scheme that makes us a socialist nation with bigger plans for the eventual takeover of our country by a New World Order!

Now because of their poor leadership, people in their districts will soon be living in POD communities, stacked in little HUD houses, looking begrudgingly at the next scourge that may wipe out parts of the population so that we can be sustainable!

Because of these elected people, we are now living in highly regulated, annexed and expanding Urban Growth Development areas while assisting the UN in decreasing sprawl and living around uninhabital land reserves placed within a color zone!

We gotta annex so we can get those extra tax dollars from the ones we represent, you know!

In the meantime, we are witnessing the greatest loss of our freedom and sovereignty by land grabs and horrendous land use regulations of our time?

Can you imagine why they are not backing down after numerous calls from their leadership? It’s a pride thing now, we are in way too deep! Turning around now would mean they were right and I was wrong!

I believe honestly they would rather go to their grave knowing they destroyed our country than acknowledge that they were wrong! I see the quandry, I understand, I feel the pain, I really do! But it’s high time to do the right thing and reverse course! I understand feeling you are too deep into this diabolical international plan to turn tail now! But we must be realistic here!

I feel it is time to make it right and save face! I must either forge on or I must get slapped in the face with a big ole piece of humble pie!

Dont be that “useful idiot” too proud of this Regional project to ever save face. Its time to put on our big boy panties, suck it up, be a big man and admit to wrong doing and change course!

I can’t imagine a representative of the people continuing to fight till the last breath against cries from within their own party or from their constituency, but I imagine there is a few that will!

This house of deception is crumbling fast as more and more people are seeing it’s real intent! I would not personally want to be still holding the bag when it collapses!

Many lives are being directed into your imperfect storm! It’s time to guide them to safety! Let’s disassociate with ICLEI and shove off this International inspired growth plan, watch the free market take care of this growth thing all by it’s self with the best interest of the people in mind!

Don’t be that adult child that screams and pitches a fit long after they have been told “no!” Be the man or woman you were elected to be and represent the people!

Dear SEC Members, County Chairs, Young Republicans, College Republicans, and others,

First I would like to thank Peggy Lambert, our RNC Executive Committeewoman, for her report last Saturday in which she identified “the social engineering program known as Agenda 21″ as one of the top issues for the RNC this year. This is a very complex topic, and there are many components to the UN’s Agenda 21, from education policy to restricting rural development to “smart growth” in our urban areas. But the two areas that impact citizens across the state are the policies that affect the rural areas, and urban areas of our counties. We have seen an explosion in “Comprehensive Plans” – some at the county level, some encompassing multiple counties or even extending across state lines, as with the Chattanooga area’s 16 County 40 Year Plan. It is up to us to dig beneath the surface, and expose the over-reach of government and the waste and abuse of tax dollars to support these programs. Please understand – I am all for conservation and being a good steward of the resources the Lord gave me. What I am against is restriction of personal property rights and government making decisions on where people can live, work, and how they can get around in their community.

I have attached two fact sheets that will quickly bring you up to speed on the basics, as well as a figure showing the state of Tennessee from the stimulated reserve and corridor map that Dr. Michael Coffman drew up based on the Global Biodiversity Assessment Report and the US and UNESCO Man and Biosphere Program (google these). What you need to know is that this is the end plan, unless we stop this now. As with most incremental plans, this won’t happen all at once, but ultimately, red areas will be completely off-limits to all human activity, yellow and green areas are limited use areas (agriculture, etc. – for now). All people will live inside the black dots on the map, in “stack ‘em and pack ‘em” high rise apartments. No lake houses. No mountain cabins. No suburbs. You can also search YouTube for the video “Agenda 21 for Dummies” – about 9 minutes long. It’s a little dated and the ending is a bit hokey, but it is a good introduction to some of the national figures who have been in this battle for the past 20 years.

This is a lot of information to toss to you at once. There are several good speakers on this topic across the state, so if you would like for someone to make a presentation to your GOP club or organization, please let me know and I will help you get that set up. Another thing to remember is that this is a non-partisan issue (or maybe it is a bi-partisan issue). George H.W. Bush signed the agreement at the Rio Conference in 1992; Bill Clinton created the President’s Council on Sustainability; Mayors and Governors of both parties embraced these programs in order to receive federal grant money, and Barack Obama (along with the EPA) is pushing the pedal to the metal as far as implementing this. EO 13575, which established the White House Rural Council. This should be of concern to everyone who lives in a county with rural areas. It will be to the GOP’s advantage to get out in front of this quickly, but don’t hesitate to try to educate democrats as well. You might want to check out Rosa Koire’s book “Behind the Green Mask: UN Agenda 21″ available at Amazon for $14.37.

My apologies to the folks in the Chattanooga area who already received some of this information! Thanks for taking the time to learn a bit about this, and again, I urge you to do a search on the computer for “sustainable development” and your county or city. Or “comprehensive plan” and your county or city. You might be surprised by what you find!

HJR 587- Anti Agenda 21/ICLEI resolution passes another hurdle, on to floor today

In Agenda 21 on March 15, 2012 at 2:05 PM

HJR 587 jumps another hurdle on it’s way to final approval! Another vote will take place today, awaiting results! I know State Representative Kevin Brooks has been all over this resolution as it has gained greater than 30 sponsors in a short amount of time!

The United Nations Agenda 21 is being recognized as the evil plan that it is! In Bradley County we have in less than a year gone from “you are out of your minds” to a resolution being passed in the State Legislature to get it and ICLEI out of our community!

The RNC has made this effort their number one concern for 2012 and have also endorsed legislation to get the UN out of TN and the country! They were even as bold as to say that if you do not make a stand against Agenda 21 they would not endorse you for office next election! That is a very bold statement and has gained and spurred many bills and pieces of legislation to be created!

Our Bradley County,Cleveland City Mayor, city and county planners along with consultants McBride Dale and Clarion, commissioners and councilmen need to realize that their efforts beyond this date are futile. State and RNC legislation should be followed! We are done with our expensive and expansive growth plan and all the “green” efforts that are being implemented without the peoples approval!

We are no longer alone in this process! We now have teeth and we are asking our local leaders to jump on the bandwagon and stop looking beyond the will of the people! Stubbornness and thoughts of that’s the way we have always done things are no longer the status quo! At this point, you are alone and acting as if their are no stop gap measures in place. Continued action is irresponsible and possibly illegal. We keep hoping they will do the right thing, but we will see!

Listen to the sweetness of this resolution below sponsored by State Representative Kevin Brooks! It really is music to my ears and sends a definitive message to the local press that mocked us for daring to make this an issue long before any one knew about it. I’ll reserve my judgement for another day! The following resolution was created by a State Representative that dared to step out and act while others were hiding under mommas skirt tale too scared to stand up with the will of the people!

An email from Kevin Brooks!

A good morning fellow patriots,

This morning HJR 587 passed Calendar & Rules and was placed
on the Regular House Floor Calendar for Thursday, March 15th.

I am very grateful for the support and co-sponsors of this HJR.

Please spread the word to contact your Legislators to vote YES

HJR 587, by K. Brooks

A resolution relative to United Nations Agenda 21.
Whereas, the United Nations Agenda 21 is a COMPREHENSIVE PLAN of extreme environmentalism, social engineering and global political control that was initiated at the United Nations conference on Environmental and Development (UNCED) held in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil in 1992 and

Whereas, the United Nations Agenda 21 in being covertly pushed into local communities throughout the United States of America through the International Council of Local Environmental Initiatives (ICLEI) through local “sustainable development”, polices such as Smart Growth, Wildlands Project, Resilient Cities, Regional Visioning Projects, and other “green or alternative” projects and

Whereas, the United nations Agenda 21 plan of radical so called “sustainable development” views the American way of life of private property ownership, single family homes, private car ownership and individual travel choices and privately owned farms all as destructive to the environment and

Whereas, according to the United nations Agenda 21 policy, social justice, is described as the right and opportunity of all people to benefit equally from the resources afforded us by society and the environment which would be accomplished by socialist/communist redistribution of wealth, and

Whereas according to the United Nations Agenda 21 policy, national sovereignty is deemed a social injustice, now, therefore, be it resolved by the House of Representatives of the one hundred seventh general Assembly of the State of Tennessee, the Senate concurring that the general Assembly theat the General Assembly recognizes the destructive and insidious nature of United Nations Agenda 21 and hereby exposes to the public policy makers the dangerous intent of the plan.

Be it further resolved, that neither the United States government, nor any state or local government is legally bound by the United Nations Agenda 21 treaty in that it has never been endorsed by the United States Senate,

Be it further resolved, that the Federal government and State and Local governments across the country be well informed of the underlying harmful implications of implementation of United Nations Agenda 21 destructive strategies for “sustainable development” and we hereby endorse rejection of its radical policies and rejection of any grant monies attached to it.

Breathe in deeply Bradley County and the rest of Tennessee! We now have a representative that is willing to stand in the gap!

Next step, based on the recommendation of our own State Legislature let’s take our reps resolution and demand legally that the Regional, Comprehensive plan, the BCC 2035 Growth plan are dead in it’s tracks!

Let’s tell the consultants hired by ICLEI out of Chattanooga that are currently directing our local growth plan to go home! You are fired! We do not want you here no more! Your outdated, cookie cutter plan has already cost us too much money!

Mayors, commissioners, councilmen and the Chamber of Commerce you no longer legally have the right to keep implementing this Agenda 21 plan in our community!

We can develop our own growth plan! We do not need the United Nations, the Chamber of Commerce or a group of ICLEI led Consultants spending billions of our tax dollars on sustainable development and placing the burden on me, my grandchildren and beyond!

The loss of American property rights to the United Nations

In Agenda 21 on February 2, 2012 at 12:00 PM

With the first in a series of 3 meetings to “kick off” the Comprehensive plan for Bradley County behind us, I can officially say I know what it is like to have smoke blown squarely up my backside! I feel I was courted, kissed and left limp before I awakened! Undoubtedly, the rest in the room were given tranquilizers as our elected officials never batted an eye or twitched a muscle as this plan was introduced and allowed to proceed!

Consensus was not obtained in that room at the five points museum regardless of how it was reported in the local press! Overwhelming disapproval was echoed by the majority in the room! I have the video to prove it, but then again, citizen objections are not supposed to be heard or voiced in Bradley County!

Their attempt to bamboozle and intimidate was obvious when County Commissioner Connie Wilson stood up from her seat and shouted the Citizens down leading us to believe we were wasting her time. Well, Mrs Wilson a great way to open up a little time in your busy schedule would be to resign or not run again, that would be a great way to free up your Mondays! Better yet, come election time we need to encourage the vote to go to someone willing to listen to and be inconvenienced by the people! Beyond the yelling by Mrs Wilson the meeting moved on without much citizen input acknowledgement.

The calling of the Police is a classic but outdated move often rendered by the machine when they are being objected to and not getting their way!

I wonder, if perhaps, the call was made from her table, thinking out loud always gets me in trouble.

For future reference, in case you have forgotten, “we the people” have a constitutional right and duty to question our government and their actions! Stop calling our Policemen and women who have other important things to do besides monitoring law abiding citizens demanding answers from their government! It’s appears so Gestapo, so Marxist, loud and out of touch!

Enjoy the article below! I have been so busy lately with all the happenings I can’t catch up! Believe me, the other articles are coming!

The loss of American property rights to the United Nations
The UN Agenda 21 Marches on in America with the USDA-EPA National Partnerships.

By Dr. Ileana Johnson Paugh  Sunday, August 14, 2011

John Adams said, “Property must be secured, or liberty cannot exist.” The Decalogue emphasized private property in “Thou shalt not steal.” George Washington stated, “Private property and freedom are inseparable.”

Private property was so important to our Founding Fathers that its principles were included in the Declaration of Independence, the Constitution, and the Bill of Rights. The right to property is surmised in the owner’s determination of land use, as long as its use does not “disturb the equal rights of another.”

The Declaration of Independence states that “…all Men…are endowed by their Creator with Certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness.” United Nations Charter and Declaration of Human Rights are based on the idea that rights are granted and rescinded by men.

The UN third world nations planners devised Agenda 21 on three suspect principles: Equity, Economy, and Environment, all controlled by government because “individual rights must take a back seat to the collective.”

In 1964, UN developing nations called for the establishment of a New International Economic Order, asking that multi-national corporations be regulated, foreign property nationalized, asking to establish commodity monopolies, and requesting transfer of technology and technical assistance.

Developed nations ignored this declaration but developing nations promoted these ideas at other conferences. In 1976, the Conference on Human Settlements (Habitat One) declared that private land ownership and wealth are the primary reasons for social injustice. The 65 page socialist document recommended land use:

redistribution of population in accordance with resources

government must control the use of land in order to achieve equitable distribution of resources

land use must be controlled through zoning and planning
government must control excessive profits from land use
urban and rural land reform should be done through public ownership of land

public authorities should hold developing rights of land and should be separated from owner rights

The 1987 UN report, “Our Common Future” by the World Commission on Environment and Development focused on the policy of sustainable development: land use, education, and population control and reduction. Sustainable Development made nature and its protection the central principle for all member nations.

The 1992 UN Bruntland Commission released the official UN Agenda 21 with its 40 chapters and the 178 nations who signed and agreed to implement UN Agenda 21 at the conference in Rio de Janeiro. Signatory for the United States was President George Bush.

All countries agreed that decisions must be made based on how they will affect the environment. Property is evil and creates wealth for the rich at the expense of the poor. Business is evil, should be controlled by the community, while the owner is responsible, and pays taxes.

Wealth was produced at the expense of the poor and must thus be confiscated and given to the poor. No private enterprise should exist, only public-private partnerships. These ideas are tenets of socialism/Marxism.

UN Agenda 21 set out to abolish private property, control education, control and reduce population, and control the economy. The global plan was called “Sustainable Development.”

Every one of the 40 chapters contains policies that member nations must adopt such as demographics, settlements, sustainable communities, water control, land use control, role of business, energy control, role of industry, international mechanisms of implementing the agenda, and the institutions used to implement the policies.

In 1993, President Bill Clinton signed the Biodiversity Treaty. The treaty was used to implement UN Agenda 21 in the United States, “Creation of national strategies, plans, policies, and processes which are crucial in achieving a sustainable world.”

Dr. Michael Coffman revealed a map to the U.S. Senate of the proposed development of the Wildlands under UN Agenda 21 in the U.S. This map had red, yellow, and green zones noted as Core Reserves and Corridors with little or no human use, Buffer Zones with highly regulated use, and Smart Growth with human settlements.

President Clinton signed Executive Order 12852, creating the President’s Council on Sustainable Development to translate UN Agenda 21 into public policy administered by the federal government. The Council created the first UN Agenda 21 called “Sustainable America,” with 16 “we believe” statements. The ultimate goals were to abolish private property, control education, control and reduce population, and control the economy.

To aid in implementing UN Agenda 21 a Consensus Process was developed: Stakeholders of the Affected Group select an Initiator who then selects a Decision-Making Committee (steering committee); Policy Decisions are pre-determined by a Facilitator and not by the Committee (they cannot vote). Consensus is the process in which objections to the proposal are erased. (Exactly as they did on the 30th of January in Cleveland Tennessee with the “kick off” of the BCC Comprehensive growth plan.) The Affected Group has to abide by the pre-determined decision with no voice in choosing the decision-maker or the outcome.

President’s Council on Sustainable Development (PCSD) published “Sustainable America, a New Consensus,” which contains 150 policy recommendations taken directly from UN Agenda 21. Secretary of Commerce Ron Brown said that his agency can implement 67 percent of the recommendations administratively, using rule-making authority.

Land Management Agencies promoted land use policies based on ecological or aesthetic consequences. The agencies appropriated millions in grants to state and local governments and set up land trusts for the purpose of acquiring private property. For example, by 1997, 43 million acres were designated roadless areas, 1/3 of land in America was owned by government and ten percent by states, 21 national monuments were expanded. (Donna Holt)

How was UN Agenda 21 implemented at the grass roots? Millions in grants were awarded to state and local governments by American Planning Association and EPA through “visioning.”

A Visioning Council (steering committee) made up of businessmen, politicians, NGOs (non-governmental organizations), and people who stood to gain financially from the implementation of the goals of UN Agenda 21, worked with the EPA, the American Planning Association, the Conservation Fund, the National Resources Defense Council, and the Sierra Club.

The Visioning Council received their proposal from the President’s Council on Sustainable Development (PCSD) and proposes it as local goals for the community. The “Consensus” would remove any objections the public may have had. The result was the “vision” and the new plan of action. The entire process took 12-18 months.

The Initiator would make press releases to introduce the idea of Sustainable Communities and to build huge public support; the elected officials signed on without any questions asked. They either did not understand the nefarious intent or were financially complicit in the vision. Some local government officials had no idea that the plan came from the United Nations Agenda 21.

Partners of Sustainable Development are ICLEI, International County/City Management Association, American Planning Association, Renaissance Planning Group, Florida Forever (largest public land acquisition program in the U.S.—9.8 million acres purchased). They provide technical support and assistance with SD, management training, performance measurement, rural and urban planning.

In June 2008, The One Planet Communities proposed: (data from Donna Holt)

58 percent less electricity
65 percent vehicle mileage down time
23 gallons/water less per person
50 percent reduction in car ownership
40 electric car solar powered charging stations
Reduction of footprint from 6 homes to 2 homes by 2020
Stacked homes to avoid expansion of housing developments
Five minute lifestyle (5 minute walk or bike from your home to shop, work, live, go to school)
Walk or bike within the community
Car-sharing for short distances or from one stacked community to another
High speed rail for longer distances
Car ownership will disappear
Current consequences of UN Agenda 21:

Sustainability is taught k-12, colleges, and universities
Colleges teach how to “build earth’s sustainable workforce,” “sustainability manager for carbon accounting,” “corporate sustainability manager,” “energy auditor,” “engineering sustainably certified homes,” to name just a few
Children are well indoctrinated into Sustainable Development practices
Government schemes to control future use of agricultural land and water through the recently passed White House Rural Council
San Joaquim Valley in California was turned into a virtual dust bowl last year when water was denied to farmers in order to protect the delta smelt; 40,000 people became unemployed;

less vegetables and fruits resulted in higher prices

Regulatory taking of land, especially in Florida, Miami-Dade County

Rationing of water, electricity, and fuel

Expensive retrofitting of homes—people will be forced to leave their homes if they cannot afford the expensive retrofitting

Denied building permits and thus land is deemed worthless

Private property abolished to prevent urban sprawl

Land shortage

High density living

In June 2011, President Obama signed the White House Rural Council. To make good on the promise to control rural life and its resources, on August 8, 2011, the U.S. Department of Agriculture and the EPA announced a national partnership “to improve rural drinking water and wastewater systems.”

The Secretary of Agriculture, Tom Vilsack, who chairs the White House Rural Council and thus controls 16% of U.S. land, “is working to coordinate USDA programs across the government and encourage public-private partnerships, to improve economic conditions and create jobs in rural communities.”

I guess the government has finished “saving or creating the three million jobs” in urban areas, they are now moving into rural areas.

Here is UN Agenda 21 in action through its Hallmark public-private partnerships, to “fundamentally change” and control the use of water, resources, and agricultural land.

AGENDA 21: Comprehensive plan and visioning kickoff at fivepoints in Bradley County

In Agenda 21 on January 28, 2012 at 8:23 AM

This is event is the first of many scheduled for Bradley County! The Comprehensive plan or the Agenda 21 visioning meeting as it it is called is a direct result of the United Nations/ICLEI plan that is sweeping the nation! In every county in the United States the comprehensive plans are being unfolded!

I am encouraged recently by proposed legislation by State Representative Kevin Brooks that if passed will put an immediate stop to this comprehensive plan and cut the head of the snake off!

Even as our State Legislators are saying “no” the powers that be are continuing to move forward regardless of the law or the will of the people! This circumvention of the people is purposeful and is taught as a subversive technique in planning circles!

This growth plan is expected to cost arguably around 10 billion dollars or more with 10 to 20 new schools to be built! Where does this money come from? Our local economy is shot! We have no money! We are floating 10 to 20 year bonds with high interest rates as is just to pay for a road a manufacturer could have built on their own!

This expensive plan will be paid for by you! In the form of some kind of tax, probably a huge increase in property taxes! There is no way around it! YOU will have to pay for it and our way of life will be changed forever!

I will be curious to see if State Representative Kevin Brooks will be at this Agenda 21 Visioning meeting in light of his recent proposed legislation.

Will be interesting to see how many of our elected officials will be there! Oh well, the beat goes on! Register and sign up and attend and ask the right questions! Do your own research then make your own decisions to see if this is something you want to pay for!

Agenda 21: Sally Absher TN State Executive Committeewoman speaks up about Agenda 21

In Agenda 21 on January 19, 2012 at 10:19 AM

It was only a matter of time before our politicians would finally see the light. The RNC, the GOP, select Democrats and State Executive Committeewoman Sally Absher are now speaking loudly and are talking about the dreaded Regional Growth Plan and it’s close ties to Agenda 21.

Also on board recently and sounding the alarm is Tn State Executive Committee Woman Peggy Lambert and State Senator Jim Summerfield!

On the flip side, the opposite is true in Bradley County and the region! Chattanooga/ICLEI/Recalled Mayor Ron Littlefield/Beth Jones/Bradley Planner Corey Divel/Mayor Gary Davis/Mayor Tom Rowland/State Representative Kevin Brooks and many others in Bradley County are still pushing the Agenda 21 Growth Plan as the “plan of all plans” despite warnings from within their own party!

First I would like to thank Peggy Lambert, our RNC Executive Committeewoman, for her report last Saturday in which she identified “the social engineering program known as Agenda 21” as one of the top issues for the RNC this year.

– for now). All people will live inside the black dots on the map, in “stack ’em and pack ’em” high rise apartments.

You might want to check out Rosa Koire’s book “Behind the Green Mask: UN Agenda 21” available at Amazon for $14.37.
