Congressman Dejarlais moves on with campaign, Stewart and Dems looking desperate

In Uncategorized on October 30, 2012 at 10:42 AM

Have you ever seen your grandma naked? Ever witnessed a baby seal get clubbed? Have you ever seen a circumcision? Ever chomp down on aluminum foil and it embeds inside a cavity? Striking some emotion?

That feeling right there. The one that just coarsed up your neck into your chest making your cheeks flush and your heart pump harder and faster. That anger or embarrassment or both. Do you feel it?

Ok, now say this sentence,”The Eric Stewart campaign strategy and behavior lately!” Say it, Im painting a visual, go along with me. “The Eric Stewart campaign strategy and behavior lately!”

Dont you automatically gravitate to envisioning grandmas saggy hoohas, a seal lying quietly on ice, a very sensitive piece of anatomy being wacked off with reckless abandonment and jumping up and down in pain from foil jammed into a bad tooth.

That feeling, there it is! You got it now. That’s exactly how I feel as I witness the witch hunt by Eric Stewart, that some are calling his Congressional race.

A lot of embarrassment, anger, and pain all wrapped up in one thought. What is this guy up to? Does he want to to discuss the issues or sling mud from a previous marriage with news that is at best a decade or more old and is now seeing a re-emergence in it’s second Congressional race. Quit beating a dead horse Mr Stewart! It’s an old tactic that needs to be put to rest. The 4th district deserves that much. Your recent negative behavior can only be viewed as juvenile at best.

I have heard nothing of substance from Stewarts camp, just bitchin and griping about an affair from two ladies that haven’t been in the 4th district Congressmans life for over a decade.

How do you feel about the issues Mr Sewart? Your fake president comes from your party. Why are you not investigating him? There is plenty to do there. You could spend all day inside that den of sin Mr Stewart. That venture could give you enough fodder for a lifetime.

Perfection Mr Stewart? You ain’t going to find it on this earth. Gauranteed! Skeletons? Perhaps if I spent a moment inside your closet what bones may I find. The fact is we all have bones. Granted some more than others but none the less they are in everyone’s closet.

There is much talk recently about “looking presidential.” Looking like you can lead a country. Where is that quality from you?

The liberal media is giving you plenty of print and the Dems are asking for DeJarlais resignation, the only positive in this debacle is you are showing your self unworthy of representing the 4th Congressional district of Tennessee. It make you look desperate and desperate people often take desperate measures that makes them look even more inept and unfit to lead.

The 4 th District is getting battle fatigue from all the negative campaigning. Wanna say something? Wanna get some votes? Talk about the issues and what you can do if you were elected. I challenge you to toss out the garbage and look more Congressional and less desperate.

Let compare Stewarts record to some key Dejarlais votes. Remember this is scientific and holds much truth.

Van Irion stares down Obama over his eligibility next week in Georgia!

In Government on January 19, 2012 at 4:40 PM

The court date has been set! January 26th, Thursday, 9 am in Atlanta Georgia! Address below! Let the showdown begin! Join Van Irion and myself as he takes on the titans from DC and I get to witness history be made! If there is enough interest we may get together a caravan of people and send them that way to offer support! Go VAN go!!!

Donny,

In one week we will be in Georgia arguing that our Constitution be upheld, that only candidates with two U.S. citizens parents be on the ballot for President.

The hearing starts at 9am at the JUSTICE CENTER BUILDING, 160 Pryor St, Atlanta, GA – COURTROOM G40 on the ground floor.

Please be at the hearing if you are able. Also please email and let us know if you plan to be there so we have some idea of how many of our members to expect.

If you have been following the news on this issue, you may know that three different parties will be heard on the same day. Liberty Legal Foundation and our client David Welden is going first. WND ran an article today summarizing fairly well the issues and parties.

Our strategy is to keep it simple. The qualifications for President are that the candidate be:

a natural born Citizen
or a Citizen of the United States, at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution (this no longer applies because there are no citizens that were alive at the time the Constitution was adopted),
and be the Age of thirty five Years,
and been fourteen Years a Resident within the United States.
We concede Obama fulfills the last two qualifications. However, Obama can never fulfill the first qualification because his father was never a U.S. Citizen. Interestingly, the Senate website explaining these qualifications says,

“This… requirement raises the question of whether someone born to American parents outside of the United States would be eligible to hold the office.”

The official government website explaining the qualifications for President says that both parents must be “American”. It does not say “an American parent”. That the Congress has not pursued this issue is a travesty to our Constitution. Every member of Congress is a co-conspirator to the fraud being perpetrated on the American people.

The reason the Founders included this extra qualification for President is extremely important, today more than ever! No one can deny that the worldview and opinions of the parents greatly influence the worldview and opinions of the child. In Obama’s case, as we read in his book Dreams From My Father, this is made abundantly clear. Obama’s father held deep resentment towards the Western world, including America and transferred that outlook to his son. All of the policies of Obama that weaken America make sense through this lens. Going around the world apologizing for our country, transferring our resources overseas, pushing policies that stifle the free market and prevent job creation – these are all a direct result of Obama not being a natural born citizen. This is exactly why the Founders created the highest standard for our highest office.

Next Thursday our argument will be very simple:

Obama’s father was not a U.S. citizen

The Constitution requires that both of Obama’s parents be U.S. citizens

Obama is therefore not Constitutionally qualified to run for the office of President

Accordingly, the Secretary of State of Georgia can not place Obama’s name on the ballot

Please help us be successful next Thursday. Be at the hearing to show your support. Pray for Judge Malihi and for Van as he argues the law before him. If you can’t be at the hearing, please help by spreading the word about Liberty Legal Foundation. The greater our membership, the greater our influence. Please continue to encourage your friends and family to join us.

Congress can take your tax dollar inscribed “In God we trust” but cant wish you “Merry Christmas?”

In Government on December 16, 2011 at 5:10 PM

I am increasingly becoming all to aware that someone is running this country does not need to be there!

What is this country coming to when sending in your tax debt with “In God we trust” inscribed permanently on it and my Congressman cant send me a “Christmas card” with that same money I just sent my taxes in with?

Why have we been castrated by a few elitists? Why do we cow tow to this simple minority who are dictating to the majority the rules? It doesn’t sound sensible to me?

Where are all the real men and women that should be standing up and saying “Stop the madness?” Where are they? Did they get snipped and go into hiding?

You would think that someone in Congress currently would say, ok with near single digit approval ratings, “Americans”, many Cbristian Americans are overwhelmingly shouting, saying we are not doing something right here, we need to change course and fast!”

It would be so refreshing to hear one elected politician at any level say, “Enough is enough!” Near 90 percent of the American people we represent say, “time to do something different!” We are not well liked out there in district land!”

Not a single one, at at any level is willing to make that stand! I long for that one elected official to say “Today, ladies and gentlemen, we have heard you. We are standing up for your rights! Starting today, we are going to start listening to the majority of you Americans who still love this country, we are no longer going to be advised by a few vocal minority that are dead set on destroying this country!”

I would even like to hear it in an official commercial, with band music in the background, lightly playing the star spangled banner, perhaps in a John Wayne voice over, drums come to crescendo, and that voice says loud and boldly, In America, liberty will stand, we are starting today taking our country back from the few elitist, moronic leftist minority! Enough is enough! We are fed up and we ain’t(yes, I said ain’t) gonna take it no more!” What? A guy cant dream and wish this would happen? Would that not be the sweetest sound? Can you imagine the amount of people that would stand and cheer and watch as Nancy, Harry and Barrys hair gets blown back by the collective “whoosh” of air from millions sending that message? I’m getting chills just thinking about it!

Sadly, it’s only a dream, a wish! Will anyone stand up or is it time to elect people that will?

Our people will have to awaken from this sleep that has attacked them first! No change will be created until enough people are hurting and suffering I am afraid!

Soon and very soon I want to watch begrudgingly of course, the eyes of many AmericAns when they finally do wake up and say, “hey, wait a darn minute here! What happened to that great country we used to know? Why didn’t someone tell me?”

What has our country been turned in to?

What about the taxpayer that wants a “Christmas” card and not a “Holiday” card! I’m sure the numbers far outweigh the ones who may be offended by the word “Christ” on a greeting card!

Where are all the Christians on this issue? Where are the Americans? Why are the churches silent on this issue? Why are all the politicians silent? What happened to our backbones? Why do we deny Christ inside the government that is supposed to representative of the citizenry? Why are a vocal minority able to make and implement all the policy? One, I think our Reps have become spineless, two, yes, Im sure they will lose their “tax status” all the while, they lose their “freedom of religion or free speech”, three, Im sure castration hurts! I can’t figure this one out! Or maybe I did figure it out and I am in denial!

Anyway, I can still express my freedom of speech and while I still can without being fined by my government or placed in jail, I am going completely out on the edge here…………here goes…………MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL AND MAY ALL YOUR CHRISTMASES BE BRIGHT! GOD BLESS YOU ALL AND MAY GOD WATCH OVER EACH AND EVERYONE OF YOU! MERRY CHRISTMAS! Have a great weekend! Keep reading and I’ll keep posting!

Please take another minute and read this very depressing article!

Congressmen Can’t Say ‘Merry Christmas’ in Mail
by Mark Tapscott –

Looks like the PC police have threatened members of the House of Representatives against wishing constituents a “Merry Christmas,” if they want to do so in a mailing paid for with tax dollars.

Members who submit official mailings for review by the congressional franking commission that reviews all congressional mail to determine if it can be “franked,” or paid for with tax dollars, are being told that no holiday greetings, including “Merry Christmas,” can be sent in official mail.

“I called the commission to ask for clarification and was told no ‘Merry Christmas.’ Also told cannot say ‘Happy New Year’ but can say ‘have a happy new year’ – referencing the time period of a new year, but not the holiday,” said a Hill staffer who requested anonymity.

Another Hill staffer told The Washington Examiner that “we were given that advice after submitting” a draft mailing.

Members of Congress send millions of dollars worth of mail to constituents every year but there are official rules that govern what can and cannot be said in those mailings. Members are barred, for example, from saying anything that might be construed as advocating their re-election.

But saying “Merry Christmas” is also not permitted, according to a Dec. 12 memo from the “Franking Commission Staff” concerning “Holiday Messaging.” The memo explains:

Members are unable at the current time to use official resources to record holiday greetings, post on social media/website, or send to constituents in franked mail or e-communications.

Member’s Congressional Handbook: GREETINGS-

Expenses related to the purchase or distribution of greetings, including holiday celebrations, condolences, and congratulations for personal distinctions (wedding anniversaries, birthdays, etc.), are not reimbursable.”

Franking Manual:

4(a). Example of Nonfrankable Items
-Birthday, anniversary, wedding, birth, retirement or condolence messages and holiday greetings are prohibited.”

You may make reference to the season as a whole using language along the lines of ‘Have a safe and happy holiday season.’ It may only be incidental to the piece rather than the primary purpose of the communication.”

A franking commission spokesman confirmed to The Washington Examiner that Members of Congress indeed cannot wish constituents “Merry Christmas” in any official mailing.

“Currently, incidental use of the phrase Happy Holidays is permissible but Merry Christmas is not,” said Salley Wood.

So it’s true, the elected representatives of the nation that puts “In God We Trust” on its currency are not permitted to use the greeting that has likely been uttered by every living adult American at least once in their lifetimes.

Just another demonstration that political correctness and freedom of speech, faith and thought are utterly incompatible.

U.S. Chamber of Commerce and large corporations dictating agenda for 112th Congress

In chamber of commerce on October 5, 2011 at 4:31 PM

U.S. Chamber’s Agenda
Echo Chamber: How the U.S. Chamber of Commerce’s Top Corporate Funders Dictate the Agenda for the 112th Congress

We are seeing the country being run by large corporations and their representatives the Chamber of Commerce! With them being the number one lobbyist spending near 150 million last year on essentially paying people off it is no wander our country and it’s sovereignty are almost gone! The Chamber and it’s allowed influence over our towns and nations is stifling the economy and is leading us definitely in the wrong direction! Influencing elections and dictating agendas for Congress, please where is our representation in Washington? Who is going to stand in the gap for us if our elected officials are being bought and paid for by the Chamber of Commerce and it’s minions? Something has got to give! Information must get out to the “naive” public! Please read this article and you may have to go to the site to read the full article, which I highly recommend! You can go to Chamber Watch at http://www.fixtheuschamber.com

In the upcoming days, the Republican leadership will produce its legislative agenda for the 112th Congress, an agenda they’ve already started planning. It wasn’t hard for them to create this agenda: the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, which pledged to spend more than $75 million in anonymous corporate money to influence this fall’s elections, provided an agenda for them, driven by and for the sixteen companies that provide more than half of the U.S. Chamber’s contributions. The U.S. Chamber has already developed the talking points and plans to implement that agenda. Now that its election war chest has rented it a Congress, look for an agenda from the newly minted Republican-led House that reflects the U.S. Chamber’s priorities – which in turn reflect the interests of the member corporations that make the largest contributions to the Chamber’s coffers.

The bottom line: the handful of corporations that secretly fund the U.S. Chamber of Commerce are influencing national policy, and spent millions of dollars to elect congress members that will pursue their agenda. Here are the top five priorities the U.S. Chamber’s corporate Congress can be expected to pursue.

H.R. 1: The Extension of the Bush Tax Cuts: Keeping Corporate CEOs Rich
H.R. 2: “Personalize” Social Security: Putting Earned Income Programs at Risk to Pay for Bush Tax Cuts
H.R. 3: Repeal/Weaken the Affordable Care Act: Protect Insurance Companies
H.R. 4: Protect Tax Benefits for Outsourcers: Keep Jobs Overseas
H.R. 5: Gutting the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau: Choosing Big Banks on Wall Street over Small Business and the Rest of Us

Chuck Fleischman’s Town Hall Summary in Bradley County

In Government on September 5, 2011 at 3:43 AM

A packed house filled the Humanities building room 207 at Lee University on Monday to hear Congressman 3rd District Tennessee Chuck Fleischman speak at his first in a series of Town Hall Meetings.

Among those in attendance was a senior history class from Walker Valley High School who were very attentive and asked informative questions.

Summary of the meeting:

Too much debt!
Mr Fleischman started the morning talking about the Debt crisis our country is facing and eluded to the fact that we are hurting down to the local level and decisions should be made that affect its citizens by realizing we “In the United States we have a spending problem, not a revenue problem, so no new taxes” Mr Fleischman said. Two thirds of our debt is
Foreign debt!

“Presently our total percentage of debt is about 18% of the total debt” he said. “ In 1970 approximately 5% of our our total foreign debt, today it is 47% and that our debt is being bought up by foreign countries like China and Russia. “years ago the American people were funding the debt with war bonds, we are no longer doing that” he continued.
Tax Code!

Chuck went on to say “ I do not like the current tax code, it is broken and we need to work on tax reform”. “Current tax law is volumes of paperwork and the average citizen cannot keep up with it.” If the taxes are lower, we will see more money, people with more money in their pockets spend more.” Mr Fleischman even fielded questions from the audience suggesting that he would support tax reform and would consider the Fair Tax, Flat tax or some other kind of reform.
Not seeing eye to eye!

The President and I don’t always see eye to eye but went on to say that the debate needs to continue on both sides of the aisle when it comes to solving the problems with our economy. The debate in this country needs to continue. He said he disagrees with the Presidents budget which is 25% of GDP and potentially may go to 50 percent of the GDP in the next few years which would be devastating.

Obamacare/Medicare!
“Obamacare, the Health Care Reform Act is a bad bill” He said he would support legislation to repeal this bill. The Healthcare bill will rob Medicare recipients of about 500 billion dollars annually. If Medicare is left alone, by 2020, it will be broke. My immediate plan to save Medicare is to sit down with the nation and talk about the issues and discuss ways to fix it. The Death panels or Beuracratic boards are wrong and we don’t need a board to make life and death decisions.

Debt Ceiling!
I voted against raising the debt ceiling! Many things have been reported wrong when he went to the Speaker of the House and discussed this issue, but thought that raising the ceiling would eventually bankrupt our country.
If you had a magic button?

A question from the group was “I have heard you say we have a debt problem, we have a spending problem not a revenue problem, we need to make changes, if you had a magic button you could push, what would you fix? The answer and the only low point for me was the vague answer I received. The Congressman didn’t seem to have the answer, although he danced around this issue very well he didn’t offer any real solutions.

A member of the audience also encouraged him to elaborate on this issue and he didn’t have the answer that we were looking for. A follow up and a request for a more complete answer will be forthcoming!

Mr Fleischman answered questions about fifteen minutes and was available for photo opportunities and was on his way to Meigs County to conduct another Town Hall Meeting!
