Committee to preserve Georgetown speaks: No to rezoning for Industry

About 100 citizens packed the Georgetown Baptist Church in Cleveland Temnessee tonight.

The citizens had a few things on their minds. No! No to rezoning! No to wide roads swiping their private property! No to big government telling the little man what to do! No to encroachment on their property! No to anything you do without our input! End of story!

The meeting was well organized and Jeff Miller was the main coordinator tonight! I asked Jeff why are you getting involved? He replied, “because it is in my backyard now.”

Often times the greatest patriots are born when the government makes it personal. This group of citizens were personally involved tonight and mad! The America I lived in as a kid when I was young returned tonight. The red white and blue was vivid and striking, patriotism was at a fever pitch, citizens of Georgetown, I applaud your efforts.

Many in the crowd provided input and many voiced discontent with plans to change their community with a rezoning request by a well connected citizen and realtor in their own community, Mrs Judy Allen.

Judy Allen has requested rezoning of her property for I1 commercial and it is rumored that some type of gravel or concrete company is planning to purchase her property and turn it into basically a parking lot with multiple huge buildings on it.

With this proposal our way of life will change forever. Infrastructure costs passed on to property owners, decrease in property value, increase in property taxes, environmental factors, water runoff, wetlands, wildlife dusturbance, blasting, runoff, pollution of creeks and environment, vilification of those that lead this effort, the BCC Comprehensive Growth Plan and how it figures into the big picture were among the issues discussed by the locals.

The ability and will of a group to organize itself against runaway government is refreshing. Just as the commoners in Boston railed against unfair taxes on their tea, so does the commoner of Georgetown Who says NO to new rezoning efforts which stand to change the landscape forever and never to return.

I say we continue to fan the flames of liberty in every community in Bradley County and into the US. The key is leaders in every community stepping up who are personally involved and encourage community input that will eventually turn that resentment for change on their elected and non elected appointees.

Eventually, and in great enough force the so called non appointed leaders will hear the cry of the citizens and not choose to ignore their demands.

The next group goal for the Committee to preserve Georgetown is to attend the County Commissioner meeting in force on June 4 th to send a strong message to their elected representatives and that message is to vote NO to the rezoning of Georgetown.

A giant has been awakened in Bradley County, years of education and awareness by tea party, 912, liberty and “regular citizens” types are starting to pay huge dividends for our republic.

In my observation, it doesnt take a particular designation to make waves, it takes being American and speaking up when you have been done wrong and you feel your government has taken that one step too far to stay quiet any longer.

Bravo, Georgetown! Bravo! Belief in the spirit of patriotism in me has been reenergized, restored and reinvigorated! Move forward cautiously I warned the group, “for some reason the good ole boy machine turns on the citizen when they speak up!” “Expect vilification, this is their game. Many steps will be taken before the vote on June 4th, don’t become complacent.”

“Folks in the room like Mr Mike Smith who have said the vote is safe, don’t be satisfied with that. I believe we have Mr Elkins and Caywood who will vote NO, but it takes 6 more to win the vote. Don’t stop the pressure! Dont accept a delay vote either, only a yes or no vote!”

“I have walked in and out of a commission meeting fully expecting a vote to go one way and it end up completely opposite. Many backroom meetings will be held, many ideas will flow from those who choose big business over the rights of the citizens.”

“Pressure will be added to these elected officials to vote one way or another over the next few weeks, some may cave to that pressure. Call them all and tell them to vote NO!”

“Beware as the proverbial strikes to your leaders will start as soon as soon as they leave this room tonight! Support them with your lives when they make this stand!” You have made our forefathers proud. Well done.”

The committee is encouraging large masses of people to be at the rezoning vote in Bradley County on June 4th at the Bradley County Courthouse at 7 pm. Great numbers will sway things and if they aren’t swayed by public outcry, we simply acknowledge a yes vote, mark in your memory bank and next election cycle send their bags packing.

It’s that simple and that is how we do thing in the good ole U S of A!

OBAMA- “Gettin Down on The Farm”
President Obama signs his 89th executive order and it is an eye opener and noone seems to know about it or care!
The National Archives defines an Executive order this way; Executives Orders are official documents, numbered consecutively, through which the President of the United States manages the operations of the federal government.
The Presidents Executive order 13575 is designed to begin taking control over all aspects of the lives of “rural dwellers”, roughly 60 million Americans who live in rural America. Why didnt we take notice? We were hit full throttle with a picture of a weiner from one of our Congressmen. Yes, while Mr. Weiner was showing his Weiner, America was getting the big Governement Weiner put to them. While we were trying to find out just who Mr Weiner was showing his thang to, the President hit one out of the park for his Socialist Team called the “wag the dog Socialists.” Although it was not a Dancing With The Stars Finale the President did manage to sneak one by you yet again, while we slept. (Ok, no more Weiner references, I think!).
In Section 1 of EO 13575 it states the following and this is a re-cap of an earlier blog! But since Glenn Beck is now reporting this incident, uh, Executive Order I figured it at least warrants one more look to clarify its connection to Agenda 21. While section 1 essentially draws out a map for Federal Regulators to basically come into your countryside, your farm and possible residence and tell you exactly how to live and what to do with your land to make it more sustainable. Everytime I hear that word I automatically refer to my childhood when my mom would make me take a bath, so that I could wash away a weeks worth of dirt off me. I feel dirty right now as the governement tries to force me and many others in America and Bradley County to do something we really don’t want to, sort of like kissing your sister.
The Government realizes we got a pretty good thing going on out in the “country”. Most “city folks” I know want to be in the rural areas “out in the country” while most people “out in the country” wouldn’t think of leaving. We are pretty self sufficient, for the most part, we can produce our own food, if need be, hitch up a horse or the tractor and provide our own transportation into town and by golly can even dig a well and a septic tank and not even need to pay for water or sewage. My dads property is way out in the country and he would often rely on a gas stove which he filled up once a year or so, burned an oil lamp and managed to have an electricity bill of around $20 dollars. Pretty much not relying on nobody but himself for his food, safety and shelter. A pretty nice arrangement and he didn’t need the Federal governement to tell him how to run his small farm. Now that is what the Federal government calls “unsustainable” and we consider that living off the land, go figure!
This Country thang must be capitalized upon and quick! The Federal governement is on to your lifestyle and boy is it fixin to change. The Government and Mr Obama now realize that “though rural communities face numerous challenges, they also present ENORMOUS ECONOMIC POTENTIAL!!!” Uh oh the jig is up as we used to say out on the farm or was that what I learned when I moved to the City, either way its over! They not only sympathize with your plight of living out in the country although I can gaurantee you there are very few on the farm that would raise their hand and volunteer to leave but the president has noticed the “enormous economic potential.” of being out in the country. Obama is fixin to get down on the farm, down on it so hard he will strangle the life out of it in the name of Social Justice. Oh lord we are in trouble, the Federal Government realizing there is a goldmine of opportunity awaiting discovery in those thar hills, I just channeled my father seriously, sorry! “The federal Government has an important role to play in order to exxxxxxxxpaaaaand acccccessss to the caaaaaaapital neccccccessary for eccccccoooooonnnnoooommmic ggggggrrrrrrowth (the extra letters were purposeful to add emphasis, you either get it or you don’t, alright) promote innovation, improve access to healthcare and education,and expand outdoor recreational activities on public lands. Did you hear that load of crap and hogwash? The President wants to educate you bunch of stupid rednecks (partially his words not mine), get you some healthcare, provide youn’s with a school or two, send some broadband internet capability your way and build you a park on your land, well it was your land until the Prez decides to call it activities on “PUBLIC LAND.” Catch that slip? This gives new meaning to the song, This land is your land, this land is my land, which by the way someone told me the other day that was originally an socialist song. But he said on public land, that his land now, not yours, public means land you pay for with your tax dollars and all the neighbors get to come visit, go home at the end of the day and then armed Forest Rangers get to pull a gate across the road and you go back to your new city home in a brand new highrise equipped with an envogue coffee shop, an overcrowded community pool and an overcrowded laundromat, really! Think it wont or “aint gonna happen?” This is the “big sustainable community plan for a New World order. “ Dang Donny here you go again, conspiracy theorist, mentioning the NWO! Oh you had me till you mentioned that! Now you are off on the dark side and I can no longer read your blogs! Ok fair enough! I know its hard to believe and I can tell you that a great chunk of my younger life I heard George Bush number 1 mention the New World Order more than once and if I remember right signed several treaties along with the Mr cigar toting Bill Clinton as he formed the Presidents Council on Sustainable Development and actually got Agenda 21 to the mainstream and included and invited the United Nations into our country.
Now if this isnt a stroke of genius by probably the saddest example of a President we have had in a long time, but let me show you a few deal makers that are on the Council and you tell me if we are not in for a very entertaining ride:

WHY? Is my first thought!

I could have cut this list short, but I chose to leave it in for sake of making a point. It is safe to say the President has involved nearly every Department in the Federal Government! This tells me something very big is on the horizon! What you may ask? Think I know, but Im going to make you wait a few more paragraphs! Oh Heck, Ill go ahead and tell you………let me be careful how I word this…….hmmmmmm………OK……………AGENDA 21.Squeak, slam! That was the door closing on my blogging venture, but i dare you to read on! Ok, i guess you have changed your mind and your back in the saddle again……..read on! The music should start now, some really scary music, like a ghost haunting, can you hear it in your head……..duh da duh or something like that…….you heard it didn’t you?
Let me run down a few of the characters above and show you an association with Agenda 21! Valerie Jarrett, now look above and see her title. She served on the board of LISC (Local Initiative Support Corporation) which uses the language of Agenda 21 and ICLEI on their web page and details their work to build “Sustainable Communities”, Melody Barnes look up, ok now you are catching on- Former VP at the George Soros funded Center for American Progress, Hilda Solis….look uuuuup, never mind. In 2000 received an award for her work on Environmental Justice, Nancy Sutley- Served on the board of the Los Angeles Metropolitan Water District and one of the biggest supporters of low flow toilets that are now credited with costing more money than expected while causing some nasty problems, you know the commodes that when you walk in front of the laser it flushes automatically, well a short story, I was sitting on one the other day doing my bizzness and just the way I moved around back and forth in front of it, it flushed 37 times, no kidding, cost efficient? Back to the reporting! Oooh, I feel the door getting ready to shut again!

This council says it is going to promote economic prosperity, improve quality of life, streamlining and leveraging Federal Investments in rural areas, increase the impact of Federal dollars, create economic opportunities, increase the effectiveness of Federal engagements with rural stakeholders enhance Federal growth efforts in rural and urban areas, Identify and facilitate rural economic opportunities focusing on energy development, outdoor recreation (since when did outdoor activity need to be regulated, country folk been regulatin for years just fine on our own) etc. Im seeing a “rural stimulus plan” in the works here!This language paints a very broad stroke and there is no telling what they might do or where this may end!

The timing of this Executive Order may just be in time for the meeting called later this month hosting a meeting of Agenda 21 operatives who are also members of ICLEI. On June 28th the ICLEI-Local Governments for sustainable communities and US Green Building Council announced the National Press Club Leadership Speaker Series. The featured speaker will be Sha Zukang Secretary General of the United Nations Conference on Sustainable Development (Rio+20) In this meeting, they plan to discuss the impact and vison of sustainable development in the USA. Get ready for more changes……sleep america…….sleep!

The Agenda 21 agenda has been pushed for years and has met with some resistance recently but for the most part Americans are seemingly non caring and many possess the attitude if its going to happen it will happen. This is now not only being talked about we are for real getting ready to see the US Federal Government alongside the United Nations weave themselves into every fiber of our being and the country will be under Socialist and Communistic regimes before we know it or realize it. I predict that within 5 years we will be either speaking another language, under Sharia law, under Socialist/Communist rule or eating out of garbage cans and selling out silver and gold to survive. Mark my word, I am the first to say and recognize this trend unless we wake up and stop this decline. This has gone way beyond fluff and glitter, AGENDA 21 is now in the action phase and they need to do it as quickly as possible berfore the people wake up and decide they have had enough, awaken from their slumber, cause when the “greatest generation” awakens it might get ugly, plus I don’t like the thoughts of OBAMA riding across my farm on a white horse with chaps, spurs and a cowboy hat, singin “I feel good, nuh ne nuh nuh nuh” claiming to have saved a few million red necks from their own demise……yeeeeee haaaaaaah America, we fixin to get busy! Its over……..close the door!

Community gives growth plan thumbs down, police called, tyranny reigns in Bradley County!

As I stood watching the endless line of bureaucrats file into the Cleveland Bradley Public Library with the familiar easel, rolled up maps, worn out suits and clip boards listening to the steady beat of size 12 leather hills tapping the library granite corridor floor like a desperate prisoner chiseling his way out of prison! Perhaps this was none of the above and it was simply the melodious thump of a well orchestrated drum line! I couldn’t help but sense a sinister coup was in full operation mode while unknowingly the ill-informed citizen lurks outside, quietly foiling their lonely existence. We were about to see the covert operation unfold right before our eyes. I was there and no one invited me!

I soon realized that the fate of our county was being handed to these bureaucrats of a greater scheme! One thing that was overwhelmingly missing from that long line of mostly self-appointed dignitaries was that there were only a few, if any “regular, Joe Schmo citizens” filing into the room!

They all say “well, I am a citizen too!”, “right?” Of course you are, but a citizen that has either been appointed to a board, a commission, a review panel or a growth panel yielding influence or persuasion about a multi billion dollar project no longer qualifies you as a “regular citizen” that is not connected to the steam roller that is running over the people and taking away their rights! Sorry, but that is how we roll! If you are on one of the many numerous boards or commissions that yield the opinion or vote, your presence in the room no longer qualified you as an unbiased citizen. I saw 3 and I was 1!

If not for a very alert informant, we could have missed this potential consensus party! Had the two other citizens not been informed when we were this would have been one big communal love fest orgy of planners and bureaucrats yielding their proverbial wands to each other for the ultimate compliment and certain approval!

Can you imagine how one-sided this meeting could have gone and been accepted if those darn citizens hadn’t gotten in the way and raised legitimate questions about property rights and our sovereignty? Whew!

I was a little hurt that I didn’t get a formal invite or email notification about this party! But hey, I’ve been left off invitation lists before! There was this one time while in DC Ronald Reagan left me off the guest list, never mind! Wasted trip, another blog! But you get the drift!

I am now the red-haired step child of the local leftist Socialistic, Democratic planning movement! You know, that guy with no date to the prom, sorta shy and not quite cute enough to score the prom queen, ok, lets save that for another blog too! I have been saying that alot lately! Maybe, I am under the spell of the planners in BC! Oh well, save that one………..for another…… Oh you know……..blog!

I guess when you invite a regular concerned citizen, you might get a few questions asked and God forbid that happen when consensus is trying to be obtained! How better to gain consensus than to make sure no citizens were at this perceived public meeting! Silly me! Maybe my expectations were too high! I consider myself a pretty alert and informed kinda guy! I was left out of the plans! I was left out! Wait! Dejavu! Prom all ov er again! You know that potential night with high expectations that is one unanswered proposal from wearing a tux, a bow tie and a silly grin with deteriorating lamb skin rotting away inside his wallet! They disguised this one well! They hid this one well!

They were almost successful pulling this meeting off without one uninvolved citizen that wouldn’t benefit from the implementation of this growth plan!

I strolled in behind the only other two citizens Karen and Dan and we sat among the modest crowd of Bradley County “Elite!” You know those people that only their momma could love! That was a joke! I can hear now ” and that Blogger called me ugly too!”

Meeting the other two citizens in the room was brief and we went to meeting the other “decision makers!” Lets see to look around the room. There is Commissioners Mel, Woods, Caywood, Rominger, Greg Dale and his associates, Mayor of Charleston, the usual group of Chamber of Commerce rulers, planners galore, old, young, past and present and in between, various suits with Clarion clipboards, Emily, chairmen of the planning commission, wives and girlfriends of those people, oh yeah and don’t forget the old grey haired lady on the front row that has the police on speed dial who happens to be on one of the planning commissions! (that’s another story for another blog) but you see the plan!

Notify every one but the people that will be affected by the plan who will ultimately be footing the bill with their hard earned tax dollars were in the room or so it seemed!

0915 approached and the crowd of 40 to 50 fully involved citizens filed to their seats! The intros were short and the slides were popping!

After a brief introduction by Greg Dale of consultants McBride Dale and Clarion he handed it off to his able bodied comrade, Emily!

The very first slide, reportedly, a compilation of the top desires of the different breakout tables from the last meeting on January 30th! You know, those things that concerned citizens would like to hear more about! Property rights, impending plan costs, not implementing the growth plan, new taxes! Those things that concerns the everyday struggling citizen!

Transportation!

Transportation?

Not having to drive your car everywhere, getting a bicycle and riding everywhere! More Greenways! Putting all of our house on a pin head and have your bank, grocery store dry cleaners and everything at the bottom of your high rise so we can cut down on Green house gases, electric outlets for electric car? Does this sound like something brought up by the concerned citizens of Bradley County! Give me a break!!! This is from a planners playbook and a cookie cutter recipe that is shown by our consultants all over the United States! There was no “new slide” made up for just Bradley County! I would bet and I bet there are slide presentations out there with the exact same things on it from the exact same consultant!

Infrastructure?

Sewers?

Quality of life?

The list went on and on! The crowd was complicit and the speaker lulling us into a deep sleep of acceptance, the planners drool was now pasted onto my shirt. The subliminal messages were streaming from the speaker system, the fresh scent of brewing coffee now lingered over the doughnuts in the back of the room. A complete whitewash, a steady current of blah blah blah was now all I could hear and the crowd of dignitaries were proud of the work their consultants had done on compiling the data!

What about property rights? Sleepy heads and partially confused men turned to me as if I had just awakened them! What about our property rights? A huge component was missing on your compiled data? Tables 7, 8 and 9 were all very concerned about property rights and not a single mention of it on your slides? Eminent domain, tearing down buildings, new land use regulations, building codes, cost, new taxes, decreasing urban sprawl, firing the consultants, devising our own plan, promoting the free market. Those are the things we were concerned about and none of them got in the board! Why not?

Mr Dale speaks up and gently nudges the speaker back as she is more or less yelling and very confrontational at this point!

Property rights! We are concerned about property rights. We will be putting together more data with that information in it! I essence, he told me these were manufactured cookie cutter slides and we didn’t put them on a new slide because frankly we only want to show you what we want you to see and take your half million or more fee to blow smoke right up your behinds!

Every slide was presented as if it was the first time the room had heard it! The speaker became more and more agitated ad the presentation went on and the questions kept pouring in!

At one point, Mr Dale, said to the 3 citizens in the room “are you going to let this meeting go on or are you going to keep asking questions?” The immediate response was “uh NO, we have questions!” Commissioner Caywood, much like Commissioner Woods in the last meeting chimed in against the people asking legitimate questions, he pipes in and says and I paraphrase “I came here to learn about this, I have a family, a business and I’m giving of my time to be here so citizens with legit questions, shut the heck up!” he went on to sat “Majority rules in America, in a democracy!” Let me correct you here Mr Caywood, Majority does rule in a democracy, but we are a Republic and every vote counts! We are not yet a colony once again under the rule of kings, close but not yet! Commissioner Woods, was silent this round of tyranny and attempts at squashing our first amendment rights! Somebody must have read her the constitution, you know the part where we can challenge our government to make sure they don’t get too big for their britches! Restraint is a good fit Commissioner, shows maturity!

The spirited banter intensified and just as our founding fathers began to smile, just like clock work, the partially blonde/grey haired old lady, just as the last time steps out into the hallway and fires up her cell phone and calls for police backup because the three unwelcome guests were “gettin rowdy!” The full court press to squelch the voice of the people was on and the “people were bobbing and weaving to counter the proverbial punch of a government run amuck!

Two policemen follow her into the room and she sits beside the familiar man just as before with a Cheshire grin that could have taken on the trophy for her kennel! Success! Escort them out please! They have spoken and we all know commoners don’t dare speak in the presence of royalty! Bow to me young man and your two disobedient and irreverent scribes! Fetch my coat, I must relieve myself of these swine!

The funny thing about calling the police and she soon realized was, they are and have been on the side of the people. This is constitutionally what a sherrif and his deputies are sworn to do

Fortunately, at least most of them are here to serve and protect the peoples rights! They tell me as I sauntered to the back of the room, ” We are not going to arrest anyone that challenges or asks questions of an elected official or appointed board in a public meeting!” They think it is hilarious that our local government wants to squash it’s peoples rights! The Sherrifs in this town have made it no secret that they are here to serve and protect the people, not be a strong arm for the representatives of government or the selfish desires of an old woman! Whatever this woman is trying to do here, this is not Chicago or DC! We are well represented by our law officers and they are watching out for our well being!

Old lady do as you please, it is your right to be tyrannical , but remember in America at least for now, is not against the law! The Constitution still gives me the right to peacefully address my government and hold them accountable for their actions! So lay off the 911 calls for dignity sakes! It makes you look so pretentious and smug!

As I said clearly in the meeting, I respect the uniform and the position, but I do not fear standing up and speaking up in a public meeting!

Public facilities?

Did I go to the same meeting? The meeting I went to was so bombarded with citizen concerns that they hardly had time to discuss any of the plans! Some of my high faluting friends tell me this is what you call a fix! Consensus! Where you stay on course regardless of the questions and concerns, then it looks like everyone is in agreement!

For real? Public facilities, bathrooms and a Tom Rowland Convention Center is the most pressing thing on the table? Really? We are paying these consultants to tell me the same thing they tell every community! In fact when I asked Greg Dale this question he said and again I’m paraphrasing, he said that many communities have the same concerns, thats why all these sound the same from community to community!

We have just called you out on your same old outdated slides and you want me to buy your spill and let you implement a growth plan that will tax me well into the next century and burden my great grand children! Are you kidding me?

The meeting came to a sudden halt and once again we were broken off into 3 groups and discussed bringing everyone into our Urban Growth boundary and decrease sprawl in the rural areas, give everybody a bike and tell them to walk on the greenway under the guidance of the EPA, HUD, UN and the
DOT!

The meeting like the others did not meet consensus or even get close! The meeting from my observation was a failure! We have a plan for growth that is being poorly presented by consultants that are highly overpaid and have a very sinister under belly to them! We have reporters on this issue and we are collaborating some very disturbing trends!

What we have here is big government trying to get bigger! We have our taxes going up as a result! We have a few in government who are overreaching in their powers!

A citizenry that is being bypassed by a group of bureaucrats that feel they know better and are being briskly tugged by the almighty dollar in the form of multiple federal grants!

We are doomed and we have the deck stacked against us! The people’s voice in Bradley County is no longer! The republic and what it stands for is diminishing by the assistane of planners in a very finance rich environment that are using the crutches of government to fulfill their edicts from DC!

It is a sad day for our country! Our representative form of government is the ruling word in our world. The hell with the people! They are just in the way?

Our founding fathers laid out the framework, the people enforce the constitution and government resets it’s own set of rules and yet tyranny prevails!

HJR 587: State Rep. Kevin Brooks adopts resolution to stop Agenda 21 in Bradley County

Breaking News:

Legislation has been proposed in the Tennessee House by State Representative Kevin Brooks that could possibly halt the recent flurry of Agenda 21 activity in Bradley County, Tennessee. This single action may also halt the Regional Growth Plan out of Chattanooga and it’s association with ICLEI!

After many months of many emails, conversations and educational material sent out to our elected officials regarding Agenda 21, our movement has just inhaled a breath of fresh air. The Tennessee legislature has stepped up to the batters box and hit a home run!

The game is far from over and we still have the arduous task ahead of us to get this resolution to fruition in the House and Senate. It is a start and it is gladly accepted.

State Representative Kevin Brooks has put forth the resolution to stop the Agenda 21 process in our County and Region. It is now our duty to assist him with getting this resolution through the House as a bill.

This first essential step in the right ditection is only the beginning. The implementation of such legislation could have huge implications for Bradley County and the region.

Many in Non-Governmental roles are still pushing Agenda 21 items in Bradley County. Huge expensive and far overreaching comprehensive growth plans are still being pursued, even as I speak in Bradley County, Tennessee.

The RNC recently proposed similar legislation as HJR 587 and I am encouraged by both. I am cautious at best and concerned this proposal could die in committee and never reach its potential.

This resolution used as a device to halt the assault on us will be very welcome. Making its way through the house as a bill will be, I’m afraid, harder than it looks as legislators may find it very difficult to give up those federal dollars and face the wrath of perhaps a Mayor with other plans. We will see what the short term future holds and will remain optimistic that this difficult resolution will make it out of committee and onto the floor as a bill.

This resolution, if it remains true to its purpose and intent should put a stop to the growth plans that are forthcoming in Bradley County. As you may know, the growth plans are a very important step in the implementation of Agenda 21 in our communities.

We must stop this Agenda 21 process and cut off all of its existing tentacles that are running rampant throughout the district!

Our Mayors Rowland and Davis should know that a strong message has been sent to them! They should stop in kind the push to implement Agenda 21 in Bradley County!

Neutralizing this threat and attack on our property rights and sovereignty before it gets completed, is crucial. Your constituency have spoken and Mr Brooks has responded favorably! Please accept his stance against Agenda 21 and stop the surge to its fulfillment.

Many citizens across the state and nation are making this stand and so should our local Bradley County and Chattanooga Regional elected leaders.

Existing bills such as HB 1554 and an assortment of other actions are only hurting the taxpayers of Bradley County. The endless drain on our economy will be evident if these plans go forward.

The sovereign district Mr Brooks represents in Tennessee deserves this resolution to become a reality!

Bradley County and the thousands of people you represent will be much better because of your stand against Agenda 21!

Your resolution to unleash the grip of the United Nations and Agenda 21 on our community will hopefully reach deeply into plans that are already in place in Bradley County.

Eliminating PUD housing, land use regulations, property grabs, conservation easements, EPA, HUD and DOT strangulations on local business, international codes, annexations, flag subdivisions, brownfields, Greenway and historic designation has set you aside from all the others!

Complete annihilation of those processes with your proposed legislation is very welcome! This proposal is sure to change the landscape of our community and State forever. This resolution alone has stepped in and done more with one stroke of the pen than the citizens of Bradley County could do in years.

Let’s make this proposal have teeth! Let’s not allow this to remain talk and hyperbole. Let’s put legs on it and make it walk! We can stop this in it’s tracks!

Let this be a strong message to Beth Jones of the East Tennessee Economic Development Council and Armando Carbonell a direct representative of ICLEI and the UNITED NATIONS that State Representative Kevin Brooks has made the necessary steps to halt Agenda 21.

We will stop this and it all began in Bradley County! Have a great day and we will continue to hold this Representative accountable and responsible for changing the face of politics in Bradley County!

The citizens of Bradley County have spoken and the house and the RNC have responded. These bold first baby steps were very much needed in the fight against Agenda 21 activity in Bradley County!

We must now send a strong message to Mr Brooks and all TN House and Senate legislators! Let’s get busy notifying our elected officials to include our Mayors, Councilmen and commissioners!

This will be key to getting this resolution to stick! We can’t pass this opportunity up! We must act and act now!

The proverbial ball is rolling and it is now up to us to pour on the accelerant by making many phone calls and sending emails to your elected officials and rallying support through your contact lists!

Dig deep, take a deep breath and get to work! It is essential to making sure this resolution is a success! Our community is counting on it, our country deserves it!

Agenda 21, Ch. 18: Bradley County Flood Plain Study, $ 300, 000 dollars so far

SEPARATING PEOPLE FROM THEIR WATER

We are just following directions Boss! I’m a useful idiot, and if the money is right, I’ll do anything they want me to do! Yesirree!!!

It is so common place to hear of our elected leaders/planners implementing Agenda 21 via Left wing Environmental/Climate Change Police in Bradley County it is not even surprising to me anymore! While Our left wing progressive, globalist Mayors are moving ahead with this initiative it is almost comical at the breakneck speed in which they are doing so! The surprising thing is most in this town are either oblivious to it or are complicit in their acceptance of it!

A flood plain study is being proposed this week by the City Mayor Tom Rowland and City and County planners at a cost of 300,000 dollars! I’m guessing the county will have to match that amount. If that is true that is another 600,000 of your tax dollars being contributed for a “flood plain study!”

Let me try to explain to you why a flood plain study and establishment of a flood plain is essential to implementing Agenda 21 in our area! The cities and counties reasons are obviously to prevent flooding, to protect it’s people from “dangerous flooding. I am with them on this concept! The rest of the story is the real humdinger! Your elected officials may be sold on this I am not, however!

In environmental/Climate change/agenda 21/United Nations world it is a completely different story! See based on false science, which has gotten much press lately, the earth is sinking! If the Earth is sinking, this creates water basins, sinking areas! Water basins collect with water and causes flooding, this putting a great deal of people in harms way! Besides flooding it supposedly affects water quality, which affects your health! But one thing remains a fact, no one has any tangible hands on facts that the Earth is sinking! Theory from well paid scientist, but no tangible evidence! The world floods! That is determined! That happens because our maker designed it that way, man didn’t cause it as they suggest! The Earth flooded before we were here and will flood long after we are gone! I promise you!

(Stay with me I am going somewhere!) Remember, I’m no Al Gore, just a blogger trying to understand a very difficult plan to alter out landscape permanently!)

Ok, the established flooding leaves a perimeter of flood prone areas, much like a ring around your tub when you let the water out! This area, this tub ring, so to speak is your flood plain area.

The City of Cleveland has decided that we need to spend 300,000 dollars and perhaps the county getting involved up to 600,000 to establish that “ring around our tub!” Many well paid engineers from perhaps from DOT and or the Army Corps of Engineers will come in for a few days, we put them up in a nice motel, feed them and in exchange they tell is where our “ring around the tub is” and we give them our 600,000 dollars right! A few months later we receive a few hundred thousand in federal grants and everyone is happy! Right! Not so simple!

Now comes the scary part! We now have an established flood zone! A place where no one can live! That area is solely dependent on the results of this study! That area in Bradley County will be arguably anywhere they want it to be! Are the Wildlands projects or buffer zones where people will not live, ever, starting to make sense now! This area as this article by Michael Coffman may be only a few hundred yards wide, but when applied across the county, state and nation you are seeing millions of miles of square average claimed by the US Government under the leadership of the United Nations/ Agenda 21 because of Agenda 21!

If this seems bizarre to you that is ok! It should sound wierd and bizarre! This plan has been around a while and until this Presidency, the total environment was not there for this Agenda 21 plan to thrive! It is there now and it is moving quickly!

I challenge you to Search keywords “Chapter 18, Agenda 21”, “Flood plain study”, “UNEP, United Nations Environmental Program” and you will soon realize that our area is not the only one getting this done to them, it’s nationwide for a reasonand that is because there is a global international effort to do so, under the direction of Agenda 21 and the UN!

Why are flood plain studies being done everywhere? My point exactly, this is an Agenda 21 plan being enacted simultaneously around the world to gain control of your land and place restraints on you that you will never be able to recover or regain the land you lost!

Bradley County is simply following suit of th whole country! The “greenies” with their strict mandated compliance policies are finally getting their way and are rewarding willing participants royally for their implementation! Again, our elected officials selling you out for money!

As the United Nations restructures itself to become a world government vis-a-vis global governance, it is being formed around the principles of sustainable development as defined by Agenda 21. Signed by the U.S. during the Earth Summit at Rio de Janeiro in 1992, Agenda 21 is a 40-chapter manifesto to reorganize the world using socialist and pantheistic principles to protect Earth .

Agenda 21 represents a major fundamental change in the role of government in social and land-use policy. Under its concept of sustainability, the primary purpose of government will no longer be to serve the people. Rather, the focus of Agenda 21 is to protect nature from people. Governance will be by consensus among “stakeholders and partnerships.” The concept of elected representation that holds the government accountable to the citizens will be eliminated.

Agenda 21 requires that by 2000 “All States…have designed and initiated costed and targeted national action programmes, and to have put in place appropriate institutional structures and legal instruments” to implement Agenda 21. The Clinton Administration responded creating the President’s Council on Sustainable Development which published its report entitled Sustainable America in 1996. Chapter 18 of Agenda 21 requires that all States implement integrated watershed management plans “for the protection and conservation of the potential sources of freshwater supply, including … protection of mountain slopes and riverbanks and other relevant development and conservation activities.”

The Clinton Administration eagerly took up the challenge. In the U.S. State Department’s 1997 report on its progress to the UN, the U.S. proudly stated, “Agenda 21 sets ambitious objectives [for the United States to] … move toward integrated water resource management, a holistic approach that treats water resources as an integral part of the ecosystem.” Among the many programs spawned by Sustainable America to fulfill the fresh water protection requirements of Agenda 21 include the American Heritage Rivers (AHRI), and the Clean Water (CWI) initiatives. Neither program was voted on by the U.S. Congress. Instead, they are being implemented through executive order.

The American Heritage Rivers (AHR) program is designed to restore and protect rivers using non-elected authorities within portions of, or “entire watersheds,” potentially including all of the Mississippi watershed. Over 50% of the entire U.S. could technically come under the 1998 program.
Although both federal programs no longer are front-burner issues, they nonetheless are sleeping giants designed to gradually give the federal government power to control land use throughout America. For instance, the AHRI also makes it clear that “entire watersheds” are likely to be impacted by a designation of just a portion of them as an AHR. Technically, the entire Mississippi River watershed, covering 40 percent of America ? the breadbasket of America ? is now under the AHR program! While no effort is presently underway to extend this jurisdiction to watersheds upstream from the designated rivers, the option remains for future bureaucrats to gradually extend their jurisdiction.

The CWI has had a far greater, and more immediate impact. The CWI’s 1998 Clean Water Action Plan called for obliterating 5,000 miles of roads each year on federal land, and setting aside a whopping “two million miles of conservation buffers on agricultural lands.” The potential impact of this program is enormous. Tens of thousands of miles of road have now been withdrawn from public use on federal land. In just one consequence, many of the huge forest fires experienced since 1998 were greatly magnified when firefighters and equipment could not immediately access the fires using formerly existing roads. These roads were typically closed by digging huge holes in the roads called tank-traps, and ripping out bridges and culverts ? often causing major erosion and siltation to the very streams the road closures were supposed to protect.

The Department of Agriculture’s Stream Corridor Plan called for conservation corridors to equal the 100 year flood plain for a river in width, which could be many miles wide for some rivers. While seemingly innocuous, even a 100 foot buffer strip along two million miles totals a staggering 76,000 square miles (48 million acres), an area equivalent to the entire state of Nebraska! Much of this land contains some of the most productive land in America. In many cases the corridors would have an enormous economic impact on farmers and other landowners. Court challenges to this and other onerous provisions of the clean water initiative finally forced the federal agencies to back down when they realized they had no legal authority to force private citizens to obey their arbitrary and capricious regulations.

Ostensibly done to protect water quality, the road obliteration and river corridor plans create defacto wilderness reserves and corridors very similar to the requirements of the Convention on Biological Diversity. The treaty came within an hour of being ratified in 1994 when Sovereignty International, an educational and UN watchdog organization, provided irrefutable evidence to the U.S. Senate that the treaty would have required up to one-half of America be put into wilderness reserves and corridors!

Promoted as a plan to “reinvent government,” both the AHRI and CWI are touted as “ground up,” “community based” efforts under the control of local people called “River Communities” and “Watershed Councils.” In fact, each step is under the “top down” control of the feds. By definition, a River Community under the AHRI is “self-defined by the members of the community.” In practice, River Communities and Watershed Councils include anyone, especially environmental NGOs (Non Governmental Organizations). They are self-appointed, not elected. They are accountable to federal bureaucrats, not local and state elected officials.

These sometimes special interest non-elected entities are empowered to prioritize federal programs, and therefore funding. In doing so, agenda-driven non-elected people within the AHRI and CWI have the power to withhold monies from communities that don’t toe the federal line, while rewarding those that do. History has provided clear proof to the age-old adage of “he who controls the money controls the people.”

Protecting Mother Earth from use by humans in this way is not God ordained stewardship. Rather, it is regulation based on the desire to control people and their activities in a misguided belief that Mother Earth’s needs are more important than human needs.
