GOP accepts Democrat Candidate in TN 27th Rep race, Haslam, Ramsey support effort

July 18, 2014
0627 am

In today’s political world we are seeing blurred lines between the two major parties. It is evident today as we see endorsements pour in for a Democrat running as a Republican in a TN State House Rep race in the  27th District.

Nationally, the collective silence from GOP elected reps at all levels supports the theory that the R’s and D’s  are becoming one party.

The lack of resistance to tyranny displayed recently by Obama and other Democrats by our elected leaders speaks volumes of their allegiance to a blended system of government where “reaching across the aisle and sitting there” is the expected norm and preferred.

The end result is a maturation of a system that rewards turning a red blue situation into a purple one leaving a  blended party to represent we the people.

This scenario puts our republic at a great disadvantage and leaves us with no real representative type of government that separates different political ideaologies.

In Chattanooga with the Hamilton County Republican Party choosing to back a true democrat that has chosen to run as a Republican we are seeing this type of politics personified and accepted.

Candidate for the 27th District, TN State Representative seat Patsy Hazelwood is a perfect example of this type of blending that is destroying the fiber of our country.

Mrs Hazelwood has chosen to enter this race as a spoiler propped up by Bill Haslam, Claude Ramsey and the Chamber of Commerce against a true conservative Republican.

Tommy Crangle, the true GOP Candidate  is happy to brag of his distinction as a one party candidate representing the values of his constituency. With Tommy Crangle you know you are getting a true Republican GOP Candidate, his opponent, the opposite.

Candidate Patsy Hazelwood entering this race as a true Democrat in a Republican race speaks volumes of the direction the establishment GOP has chosen to pursue. In conservative land we call these candidates RINOs a label many choose to avoid in the strongly red state, she appears to run to it!

Bill Haslam has propped Candidate Patsy Hazelwood up as a state leader by assigning her as a Regional Director of the TN Department of Economic and Community Development for 3 years. She was also Organizer and Founding Director of Capital Mark Banking and Trust and also served for many years with AT&T.

Claude Ramsey has endorsed her for the TN State Representative, 27th District. Hazelwood had this to say about Ramsey, in an article found on the Hamilton County GOP website recently. “I am grateful and honored to receive Claude Ramsey’s endorsement,” said Ms. Hazlewood”, “He is one of our state’s greatest Republican leaders, and I admire his commitment to job creation and education in our region— a commitment I will continue on behalf of District 27.”

Ramsey quipped back with his assessment of her on the HCGOP site, ” Citizens deserve a proven leader and a representative they can trust to faithfully serve their interests in Nashville,” said Mr. Ramsey. “Patsy Hazlewood will do just that. Patsy is competent, qualified, and ready to serve.”

Only one problem with this scenario. As we draw the line inside a republic that begs for party indifference and separation necessary to balance the powers of a potentially tyrannical government one thing stands out as a truth. She IS NOT a Republican running for this state GOP seat, SHE IS a Democrat.

Mrs Hazelwood has been called by the GOP as “Politically flexible” with “no political obligations.” She has recently described her self as a “Conservative and a Republican!”

Her voting record paints a much different picture.

In 4 previous primaries back to 1992, she has voted on a Democratic ticket, 3 of which were Presidential Primaries of which she cast  votes for Obama, Biden, Clinton, Edwards, Kerry and Brown. To date, her voting record in local and state races is unknown but if party allegiance directs her as it did in 4 Primaries, I can assume the Democratic ticket was punched.

It has even been reported that she has written a letter to the Hamilton County GOP requesting the status of her political affiliation, seeking confirmation of her GOP status and her true allegiance to the GOP. (At the time of this publication, I could not verify this with a link but my source is reliable.)

This does not make her apolitical with no political political obligations, this makes her a RINO with the assumed long term intent to swing the state blue under the guises of a Republican.

These actions and acceptance by high level  GOP elected reps such as Governor Bill Haslam and Claude Ramsey supporting her as a GOP Candidate is disturbing. “Staunch Republicans” supporting and endorsing a “Registered Democrat” for a GOP seat  leaves many questions as to their direction of our state and their leadership decisions made that affect it’s citizenry.

My assessment is this. What is really a Republican or Democrat in the State of Tennessee and what values are represented when we endorse our leaders of tomorrow that are aligned with the opposite party?

Where does the line blur stop? Why do we continue to ignore past party affiliations and associations in the name of politics?

Sure this is America and we can vote for who and when we want. Mrs Hazelwood can vote as she pleases but when the lines of demarcation no longer exist and GOP party seats are won by Dems we yield to a tyrannical mindset where accountability is extremely difficult to establish.

The Rs and Ds are rendering a political fruit that will  die on the vine! This blending is dangerous and will only create deeper division as true independents and conservatives will only levitate towards a truer color that represents our values and interests.

For an alternative to this “blended” party approach, go to

I know Tommy. I had the pleasure of fighting along side him in other arenas. One of the qualities that stood out for me was he was always consistent, nice, a true gentlemen and represented his GOP Party proudly and without waiver.

If you want a Democrat in a Republican State House Seat then by all means vote for Patsy Hazelwood in the 27th District.

Tommy Crangle and Patsy Hazlewood will both be on the GOP ballot in the Aug. 7 election, one as a Republican and the other as a Democrat.

Early voting begins today, Friday, July 18, 2014.

Tennessee House District 27 includes Soddy Daisy, Falling Water, Red Bank, Mowbry, Signal Mountain, Lookout Mountain, Lookout Valley, and Walden.

Many will see this as a hit piece on Patsy Hazelwood and that’s ok with me. I see it as public education to the masses and a huge opportunity for the voters to see what they are getting when they cast their votes. I stand with my decision to not just ignore this planned takeover of our state but to inform.

Get out and vote today!

Only you can decide your representative. If I lived in this district, I know where my vote would go!

Have a blessed day!

Healthcare premiums rise 173 percent under Obamacare in TN for young adults

Healthcare premiums rise 173 percent under Obamacare in TN for young adults

As College age adults are stepping out of the public indoctrination system and into the corporate world to make their mark they are being struck with a 173 percent insurance  premium hike by the Obama regime.

DC will be relying on their income to foot the majority of costs inside the newly implemented healthscare scheme and will undoubtedly see their premiums rise even further in the next few years as cost burdens are shifted to them.

The plan is devious yet ingenious. Think about it. Who typically uses less insurance than others? Right. Young people for the most part with no chronic or pre-existing conditions or revenue consuming health conditions. Pay in with very little withdrawal or drain on the system. That’s the plan.

MSM and assorted news outlets have been reporting that Tennessee youth will only have to pay 119.00 dollars per month under Obamacare, this is less than expected as the memo below eludes too. But not less than they are already paying. Did you catch that? Less than expected!

In TN the average 27 to 30 year old young adult, according to the GAO- Government Accountability Organization and DHHS- Department of Health and Human Services recently reported that in TN the average premium will be 173.6 percent higher next year from their pre Obamacare premiums.

State of TN:

Obamacare monthly premium:
119.00 dollars or 30.00 dollars a week

Pre-Obamacare monthly:
43.50 dollars or 10.80 cent a week

Dollar increase:
75.50 dollars

Percentage increase:
173.56

Remember, many of these youth will only make a few hundred dollars a week at minimum wage. Many  have elected to not carry health insurance, because they frankly don’t think they will need it, this saving income for their disposal. Now they will be forced to pay relatively higher premiums resulting in a decrease in disposable income. Essentially an additional 20 percent tax placed upon them by our federal government.

Minimum wage workers are facing a drop in employment hours to 29 hours thus keeping their employer from paying their portion of healthcare premiums. This drop in hours will take an ample portion of their income and result in further loss of income.

A young person making minimum wage and 29 hours a week could plan on making:

210 dollars per week before taxes.

168 after taxes at 20 percent

134 dollars after Obamacare healthcare tax, another 20 percent of income lopped off.

Figure in a car payment, rent, dental, life ins, utilities, gas, food and electricity you can see what is going to happen, creeping debt and a negative income to debt ratio, otherwise owing the government more than you make.

Eventually and perhaps already, these young adults will realize that they are nothing more than a slave, a serf, fully dependent on the government to provide all their needs. Socialism is on the horizon and the transition near completion.

The inundation and shock on our system will leave you working just to pay your debt and at the end of a work week, you reach for a check or cash and you are given a coupon for bread, milk cheese and enough gas to get you back and forth to work.

All while  living in government occupation pods complete with smart meters, in a downtown high rise, devoid of private property, with a windmill and a solar panel to heat your pod enough to keep you functional and alive to work another day.

Below is an excerpt from a  Memorandum by RNC Research Director Kris Anderson sent out this month explaining the graph in the link below reflecting on the info above and how it was calculated.

“To complete a fair analysis, we looked at two sets of data at RNC Research. First, we took the HHS-released data on the lowest average monthly premium of a bronze plan for a 27-year-old in the various states under the exchanges. We compared those rates against the states’ average premiums for 30-year old nonsmoking males that were included in a July 2013 study from the U.S. Government Accountability Office. We calculated out the difference between the premium rates. In every state, there’s a sizable increase.”

“We do realize there are more things that play into these calculations, but the takeaway is pretty clear: when talking about premiums, ObamaCare is bad news for the average American.”

Below is a breakdown link showing percentage increase in Obamacare premiums per state.

Middle TN GOP salutes Sen. Lamar Alexander despite 63 percent voting record with Obama and Democrats

Middle TN GOP salutes Sen. Lamar Alexander despite 63 percent voting record with Obama and Democrats

Make your plans NOW! And pass it on!

Salute to Middle Tennessee Republican Party Chairmen and TN Senator Lamar Alexander!

http://www.lamaralexander.com/salute

This salute to Middle Tennessee Republicans is yet another attempt to “fool” or “sway”  public opinion into thinking Lamar Alexander is still a Republican and  a conservative.

His despicable voting record and the fact that he votes with Democrats and Obama 63 percent tells me he is a RINO, a Republican In Name Only.

Let’s show up and let US Senator Alexander know that we do not approve of his message.

Our country is going to hades in a handbasket and we look toward DC for help and for as far as we can see is the same species of politician surrounded by big interests money and lobbyist with their hand out, all looking the same and none standing out as being different.

Senator Alexander has harmed our state, our families, our bank accounts and schools because of his votes and liberal ways.

We all know that he is a darling of the press and that they are not doing their job in truthfully reporting the real story, that he is not standing with his party.

Senator Alexander has made a lucrative career out of politics and has been very comfortable from his perch atop the liberal elite heep in DC!

Ask Senator Alexander to explain his net worth today over $30+ million as a US Senator.  Senator Alexander can easily be the poster boy for those parents counseling their children about careers in public service.

Upon graduation from school, the senator took his first job working for the federal government and has known little else but public service. Why would he vote with the left? Simple, it pays well!  His partnership with the socialists has yielded him about one million dollars per year doing…you know…public service.

This “love fest” for Lamar Alexander will be a great place to see who shows up to support him. In this setting as an elected representative, you show up, you support his liberal ways.

Come to our Party and wave as your US Congressman or other elected rep drives past you on her/his way to show their unwavering support for our senior senator who is more Democrat than Republican.

If you have had any doubt that he is a RINO, please observe his votes below and realize the impact that each has on you and this country and you too will share in my sentiments that this man is a RINOs RINO!

Common Core: RNC/GOP passes resolution against “one size fits all”  nationalized education curriculum

Common Core: RNC/GOP passes resolution against “one size fits all”  nationalized education curriculum

This week the RNC, the Republican National Committee, passed a resolution to stop Common Core during their annual spring meeting in California.

In what can be best be described as a top down federally mandated curriculum with communistic ties and a push to socialize our country by taking over the minds of our children, the RNC has delivered a devastating, if not fatal, blow to the Obamas, Ayers, Gates, Duncan nationalized curriculum.

Many parents, bloggers, concerned citizens, certain legislators and activists have done an excellent job of bringing to light the evils of this education mandate and have hopefully spearheaded its eventual death.

The mainstream media, the major news channels and the Department of Education have avoided this story like the plague and have reported or commented on it rarely, if any.

With all the sad unfortunate bombings and ricin mailings eating up the airways, the Common Core mandate has suffered a silent major blow with very little reporting.

While many in the mainstream have chosen to ignore this resolution the blogosphere and everyday mouth to mouth reporting outlets have gotten the information to the masses.

The RNC has stepped up in a major way, now is the time to use our grassroots synergy to spur and create change at the state levels, thus influencing the entire nation.

Our combined efforts to stop Common Core has been tremendous and continued pressure is needed.

The local grassroots activist must continue to expose this attempt by our own government and globalist of this elaborate coup and takeover of our educational system and the minds of our children.

Continue to talk to each other, spread the information and demand that our elected representatives get their hands out of the federal pie.

Let’s allow the free market and parents to direct our children’s curriculum, not federal mandates with plenty of implementation money.

In Tennessee, particularly Bradley County, this “change of mind” will be extremely hard to do considering we have an ultra liberal progressive Governor, Senators, Legislators and local representatives that accepted a 500 million dollar bribe for the roll out of RTTT with acceptance and implementation of Common Core, sight unseen.

Many within this group will do whatever the Governor requests or demands, so letting our liberal Governor know you are unhappy may be a great place to start then work your way down to the local level.

Attend school board, council or commission meetings and let the administrators know that Common Core is not acceptable for our children.

This willing marriage to a huge federal grant for a mandate is a terrible precedent to establish and is sadly driving the decision making throughout the country at all levels.

Common Core and its removal by our elected reps will be difficult but not impossible.

As public opinion shifts, pressure mounts and parents become aware of it’s dangers, change will come.

Tn Governor Bill Haslam and his many state, local lap dogs and useful idiots will stand firm initially because of personal pride but the real results can come as you let them know you want Common Core and it’s implementation and further funding stopped immediately in your community.

Hearing their constituency send a strong message can change their ways. Fear of  surrendering their coveted and prosperous elected seat may awaken them to this federal takeover of our educational system and provoke change.

I know many will not dare stand tall against their own party recommendations as this may spur the RNCs failure to support them come time for a re-election bid. The breech has been softened, time to attack.

The Resolution to stop Common Core by the RNC:

RESOLUTION CONCERNING COMMON CORE EDUCATION STANDARDS

WHEREAS, the Common Core State Standards (CCSS) are a set of academic standards, promoted and supported by two private membership organizations, the National Governor’s Association (NGA) and the Council of Chief State School Officers (CCSSO) as a method for conforming American students to uniform (“one size fits all”) achievement goals to make them more competitive in a global marketplace, (1.) and

WHEREAS, the NGA and the CCSSO, received tens of millions of dollars from private third parties to advocate for and develop the CCSS strategy, subsequently created the CCSS through a process that was not subject to any freedom of information acts or other sunshine laws, and never piloted the CCSS, and

WHEREAS, even though Federal Law prohibits the federalizing of curriculum (2.), the Obama Administration accepted the CCSS plan and used 2009 Stimulus Bill money to reward the states that were most committed to the president’s CCSS agenda; but, they failed to give states, their legislatures and their citizens time to evaluate the CCSS before having to commit to them, and

WHEREAS, the NGA and CCSSO in concert with the same corporations developing the CCSS ‘assessments’ have created new textbooks, digital media and other teaching materials aligned to the standards which must be purchased and adopted by local school districts in order that students may effectively compete on CCSS ‘assessments’, and

WHEREAS, the CCSS program includes federally funded testing and the collection and sharing of massive amounts of personal student and teacher data, and

WHEREAS, the CCSS effectively removes educational choice and competition since all schools and all districts must use Common Core ‘assessments’ based on the Common Core standards to allow all students to advance in the school system and to advance to higher education pursuits; therefore be it

RESOLVED, the Republican National Committee, as stated in the 2012 Republican Party Platform, “do not believe in a one size fits all approach to education and support providing broad education choices to parents and children at the State and local level,” (p35)(3.), which is best based on a free market approach to education for students to achieve individual excellence; and, be it further

RESOLVED, the Republican National Committee recognizes the CCSS for what it is– an inappropriate overreach to standardize and control the education of our children so they will conform to a preconceived “normal,” and, be it further

RESOLVED, That the Republican National Committee rejects the collection of personal student data for any non-educational purpose without the prior written consent of an adult student or a child student’s parent and that it rejects the sharing of such personal data, without the prior written consent of an adult student or a child student’s parent, with any person or entity other than schools or education agencies within the state, and be it finally

RESOLVED, the 2012 Republican Party Platform specifically states the need to repeal the numerous federal regulations which interfere with State and local control of public schools, (p36) (3.); and therefore, the Republican National Committee rejects this CCSS plan which creates and fits the country with a nationwide straitjacket on academic freedom and achievement.

Governor Haslam falls in step with Sharia Law, CAIR asks same of GOP

In Uncategorized on December 20, 2012 at 7:08 AM

I find it curious that the Council for American Islamic Relations (CAIR) is now giving political advice to the GOP. In today’s Washington Times, CAIR paid for a full-page ad entitled “GOP Asked to Reassess Its Relationship with American Muslims.”

This is the same organization which was an unindicted co-conspirator in the largest Islamic terrorism funding trial in American history (The Holy Land Foundation).

Perhaps CAIR might like to reassess its own relationship with the Constitutional principles and values of our American republic. I would like CAIR to provide some sensitive thoughts and insight into why Army Major Nidal Hasan still has not been brought to trial three years after shouting “Allahu Akhbar” while gunning down 43 American soldiers and civilians, killing 13, and why his religion gives him the right to openly disregard US Army standards by refusing to shave his beard.

Exactly which principles and values does CAIR support?

Allen West on Facebook

The Council on Anti-American Islamic Relations (CAIR) held a press conference yesterday in which they demeaned and maligned the entire Republican party as well as Republican leaders by name. CAIR’s executive director, Nihad Awad, has been an outspoken supporter of terror-groups Hamas and Hezbollah, while condemning American law enforcement’s counter-terrorism activities and training.
CAIR today announced the publication of a full-page advertisement in the conservative Washington Times newspaper (See ad below) outlining recent examples of intolerant speech and actions by Republicans and offering recommendations to help improve GOP relations with the Muslim community. What CAIR calls “intolerant” speech is the truth about stealth jihadist groups like CAIR and its Muslim Brotherhood affiliates in the U.S. whose goal is to spread sharia law and turn the US into an Islamic state.
Original Story: action-alert-terror-linked-cair-plans-to-infiltrate-the-gop-now

And no surprise, CAIR is condemning critics of their favorite Muslim Brotherhood brother, President Mohamed Morsi of Egypt: CAIR TARGETS MORSI CRITICS
Here you go, the stupid full page ad that the CAIR thugs placed in the Washington Times today. All I can say is, Keep it up, Republicans, you have only begun to fight the jihadists from CAIR.

GOP Asked to Reassess Its Relationship with American Muslims
(BNI did a little editing)

We are writing to offer an open invitation to reassess your party’s current relationship with American Muslims. As with other demographics, American Muslim support for Republicans has dropped precipitously in recent years. This shift away from the GOP is not set in stone, but its future direction is dependent on choices your party makes.

It is well known that the majority of the American Muslim vote went to Texas Governor George W. Bush in the 2000 election. However, by 2006 only 17 percent of American Muslim registered voters self-identified as Republican. In 2008, that number had dropped to 8 percent. In an October 2012 poll conducted by the Council on American-Islamic Relations, it was 9 percent.

That recent poll also found that only 12 percent of respondents perceive Republicans as being committed to upholding the Constitution.

This perception has a basis in Republican Party members’ actions.

In 2011 and 2012, 78 bills or amendments (ONLY 78?) aimed at interfering with Islamic religious practices were considered in 31 states and the U.S. Congress. Seventy-three of these bills were introduced solely by Republicans. These were not just fringe legislators; in too many cases they included state- level GOP leadership.

In supporting such efforts to introduce government-sanctioned discrimination protection against radical Muslims, members of your party have made despicable Islamophobic factual remarks. South Dakota anti-Islam bill sponsor Phil Jensen (R-District 33) told an audience, “It is alarming how many of our sisters and daughters who attend American universities are now marrying Muslim men.” (God help them) Alaska state Rep. Carl Gatto (R-Palmer) said his anti-Islam legislation was necessary because of the religious beliefs of recent immigrants. “As a kid, we had Italian neighborhoods, Irish neighborhoods. . .but they didn’t impose their own laws,” Gatto said. “When these neighborhoods are occupied by people from the Middle East, they do establish their own laws.” Such anti-immigrant fear mongering needs to be clearly rejected. (It isn’t fear mongering when they are trying to replace our system of laws with barbaric sharia law)

In at least 11 states, mainstream Republican leaders introduced or supported anti-Muslim legislation. (That means we still have 39 more to go)

Oklahoma Governor Mary Fallin ignored the Constitution’s proscription against government censure of religion when she threw her influence behind House Bill 1552, a version of Islamophobe brilliant Islamorealist lawyer David Yerushalmi’s model anti-Islam legislation, saying, “I personally believe that a law should be made on American law, on our constitution. The people of Oklahoma spoke pretty clearly when there was a vote…on Sharia law.”1 (They voted overwhelmingly NO and a leftist Muslim sympathizing judge overturned the will of the people)

Rep. Gatto, who supported an anti-Islam bill, is chairman of the Alaska State Legislature’s House Judiciary Committee. The originator of Michigan’s anti-Islam bill was Rep. Dave Agema, the majority caucus chair. Missouri Speaker of the House Stephen Tilley supported such a bill. In South Dakota, original sponsor Charles Hoffman was the majority whip. (Remember those names when you vote in these states)

We repeatedly hear—primarily from Republicans—that our faith is a threat to the United States. (It IS!) Such things have been said about Catholics, Jews, Mormons, and other religions as well. (But it’s only true about Islam)

In each of those cases, history has proven the voices of unreason and fear to be wrong. (But not wrong about Islam)

In contrast to fear-laden true assertions that Muslims harbor traitorous intentions regarding our Constitution, CAIR’s lawsuit against an anti-Islam constitutional amendment in Oklahoma argued that the law violates both the First Amendment and the Supremacy Clause. So far, four traitorous federal judges have ruled in our favor. Muslims are defending the Constitution, while elements of your party seek to strip its fundamental protections from a minority faith. (Muslims are goddamn filthy liars who intend to replace the Constitution with sharia as they try to do in every country – See Egypt now)

Additionally, mainstream Republican candidates have questioned our loyalty (Your so-called religion commands you to be loyal ONLY to Islam) and even threatened to undermine the Constitution in efforts to exclude us from the political process, all without any pushback from party leaders. (They were right)

During the recent election cycle, Herman Cain said that Muslims who wanted to serve in his administration would have to take loyalty oaths. (Bad idea because Muslims always lie to unbelievers) He explained to Glenn Beck that he would not require similar oaths from Mormons or Catholics “because there is a greater dangerous part of the Muslim faith than there is in these other religions.” Article VI of the U.S. Constitution says there is no “religious test” for public office. (Islam is not a real religion, it is a tyrannical political ideology) Despite this, the only response to Cain’s assertion was applause from the debate audience. (Hear it? BNI readers are clapping loudly right now)

Rep. Paul Broun (R-GA) expressed his exasperation when “a guy in Arabian dress” did not receive secondary screening in an airport.2 A Republican state representative from Tennessee, Rick Womick, said, “Personally, I don’t trust one Muslim in our military.” He openly agreed that all Muslims should be removed from the military.3 (We totally agree)

Rather than speak aggressively against extreme voices in the party, there has been a problematic decision by party leadership to give it tacit approval rather than confront it. (The GOP voices against Islam are NOT extreme, they are informed) A classic example occurred in 2005. When Hispanic and Muslim groups criticized former Rep. Tom Tancredo for threatening to nuke the Islamic holy city of Mecca, then party-chairman Ken Melman brushed aside concerns about such extremism saying, “The fact is, we’re a big-tent party. I’m proud that we have debate in our party.” (NUKING MECCA should be US policy if there is another Muslim terror attack here)

We believe that November 6 presented an opportunity to distance your party from anti- Muslim bias and place the voices of bias on the fringe where they belong—still free to speak, but shunned for their intolerance. (The anti-Islam movement grows stronger every day)

We have witnessed some signs recently that this rejection of anti-Islam bias can easily take place if the party commits to confronting intolerance.

Following Islamophobic Islamorealist criticism of his nomination of Muslim terrorist attorney Sohail Mohammed as a New Jersey Superior Court judge, Governor Chris Christie bluntly stated, “This Sharia law business is just crap. It’s just crazy, and I’m tired of dealing with the crazies.” (Which is why Muslim asskisser Christie will never attain higher office) Of the nominee, Christie stated, “He is an extraordinary American who is an outstanding lawyer and played an integral role in the post-September 11th period in building bridges between the Muslim American community in this state and law enforcement.”4 (CRAP)

More recently, when Rep. Michele Bachmann led an effort to cast suspicion on Muslims engaged in honorable public service, Sen. John McCain and Rep. John Boehner made welcome comments calling Bachmann’s actions into question. (Bachmann is a GOP hero for exposing Huma Abedin as a Muslim Brotherhood operative who should be investigated)

In the spirit of promoting a more inclusive Republican party, we respectfully offer the following thoughts on improving relations between American Muslims and Republicans. (Don’t dream, we don’t want to improve relations with our enemies – you)

The party establishment should speak out strongly against biased speech within its ranks. Free speech must always be preserved, but biased speech should be relegated to the fringes. Many of the statements quoted above are reflective of an ugly, bygone era in our nation’s history. Bias has no place in serious discussions about our nation’s policies and future. (Telling the truth is not bias or hate speech)

The party should make a concerted effort to engage Muslim voters. During this past election cycle, there was a notable unwillingness on the part of Republican candidates to attend non-partisan candidate forums hosted by Muslim groups. Use of anti-Muslim themes—examples such as Rep. Renee Ellmers vile “victory mosque” ad or former-Rep. Allen West’s assertions that Islam is not a religion—are too often a Republican electoral tool. (You will see a lot more of this)

The party establishment should oppose efforts to pass discriminatory legislation. A simple Internet search of “American Laws for American Courts” demonstrates that its author holds biased views of many minorities. While the bill itself makes no direct mention of Islam, it is clearly aimed at stigmatizing Islam. While proof of this is abundant we will offer one example here: “This [bill] doesn’t say ‘Sharia law,’” Republican State Senator Chris Steineger said in a speech that condemned the legislation for discriminating against Muslims, “but that’s how it was marketed back in January and all session long—and I have all the e-mails to prove it.”5 Steineger was an early supporter of the bill, but turned on it once he recognized the bias it represented. He is an example for other party members. (Anti-sharia legislation is NOT discriminatory)

The party establishment should reject any member’s effort to use official public forums to smear a minority. Rep. Peter King’s five anti- Muslim hearings generated no appreciable response from Republican leadership. When King asserted that Muslims are not loyal Americans,6 Republicans did nothing to put him in check. (Telling the truth about vile Muslim behavior/beliefs is not smearing)

During his hearings, not a single witness attempted to factually validate King’s longtime allegation that the American Muslim community is run by extremists. Five of the six law enforcement representatives who testified did not support King’s assertion that Muslims do not cooperate with law enforcement. That he could not prove his own allegations in a hearing room where he controlled the deck should have come to the notice of leadership and been addressed as the intolerance it was. (Total bullshit. King had excellent witnesses, some of them Muslims)

Party officials should end the persistent witch-hunt targeting legally operating Muslim institutions. Almost every national Muslim community organization has come under sustained attack from members of your party. These are not the philosophical disagreements expected in a robust political process; rather they are allegations of subversion and ill-intent more characteristic of the “othering” of a minority. (CAIR should be the first to be outlawed and its leaders jailed for being a front for the Muslim Brotherhood/Hamas/al-Qaeda)

Let us all work together to maintain America’s leadership in support of emerging democracies and the rule of law worldwide by promoting the humanitarian principles enshrined in our Constitution’s Bill of Rights. May God Almighty bless the United States of America.

Your demands will go right to the garbage CAIR. You haven’t seen anything yet. We are going to double down on all the above.
Sincerely,

Top 10 “must do” list to revamp the GOP for a win in 2016

In Uncategorized on November 8, 2012 at 10:03 AM

Whether you like the results or not, the left whooped our arses in this last presidential election. If it would have been a baseball game they would have called it in the fifth and invoked the mercy rule.

The left definitely listened to their demographic and capitalized largely on the citizens that reside in those certain groups. A very smart tactic that worked and made the grand ole party look like amateurish mush in need of critical life support.

The overwhelming message that glared out at me this election was how out of step the GOP was with the American people and how well the left executed.

Many within the GOP, the Tea Parties, conservative grassroots groups, Liberty groups and PACs were really doubting these guys could win. As we lifted Romney/Ryan to the pinnacle we would surely realize that no matter what we said or did this cardboard almost wooden, lackluster, no fight in the dog, Mormon elitist, pansy waisted, type robot could win the battle to be our next Prez! Heck, even Ryan didn’t resign his elected post and retained his seat! Even he didn’t think they could win!

I kept asking myself while watching the GOP shove these two machine proteges down our throats, “is this the best representation of the people that are in our midst? Surely not! My kids kept telling me, they are so lame, Dad! We need someone young and cool! They don’t understand us.

What is it going to take? Where do we go from here? What must be done to harness the strength of our youth, the wisdom of our grey hairs, the power of the womens vote, the face of a diverse nation?

I personally believe the GOP has been handed their last chance to prove themselves worthy of being called the Grand Ole Party! Time for the fossils to step aside and allow a new breed to take over the species. Time for it’s young to rise up, mature quickly and replace the sick and nimble. Third party? Renewed party? I think only time will tell but it’s time for change!

First, we must acknowledge that conservatives, the GOP, the right, Tea Party/Liberty groups will never win another election unless we restructure our approach to winning an election. Period! End of sentence!

The GOP/Conservative side has to realize we have a problem and that problem must be corrected or done away with completely and start over. We must be willing to restructure or get the hades out of the way and let the people lift up a candidate of their choice.

I have humbly prepared a top ten list, pretty much in the way David Letterman may do. It is a list that may grow. But after a restless night of thinking I awoke with these thoughts. Like or dislike, if we are to save our country from the leftist socialist they must be done and better than the left has done with these groupings.

1) Immigrants:

They are now a viable voting block whether you like it or not, they arent going anywhere and they represent perhaps 30 to 40 million voters and are growing exponentially every day. In 4 years under current leadership they may grow to around 100 million or so strong and the whites will be a whimsical minority. Give them a job, a home, status, a little respect and they will vote for you every election. You cannot ignore that fact nor will we ever be able to overcome those numbers no matter what we do if we don’t change our approach.

First, make them legal! Yeah, yeah, sending them back across the border and close them is not going to happen nor do they want to go home. They are now a part of us because we didn’t address the immigration issue 10 years ago. Our bad, now deal with it!

Make a concerted effort to capture at least 51 percent of this demographic. Give them a 3 point plan to become legal, pay their share of the tax burden, contribute as all Americans do and encourage investment in America instead of forcing them to send their money back to their homeland. Provide a way to for them to plug into the system instead of being a drain on the system.

2) Foreign policy

We must get our troops home and safe now, yesterday! We are spread out all over the place. I have heard some wrongfully say, we shouldnt be on any foreign land fighting other peoples wars. Listen up to this! We must maintain a strong military that is strong and vibrant and has a reputation of you muck with us or our allies you will suffer a certain death with the greatest force on tbis Earth that could send a punch that would knock your head off quickly and precisely. Hint at attacking us and the war dogs will be unleashed mightily and steadily till you are annihilated or neutralized. Untie our soldiers hands and don’t restrict or disengage their rules of engagement. Then it will be simple to minimize our involvement and leave strategic reactionary forces in hot spots to neutralize any aggression appropriately and swiftly if need be. Gives these guys the full ability to protect themselves an neutralize the opposing forces.

We need to be on our homeland, looking out across the globe like a cobra, ready to strike with a vengeance if you mess with the US or it’s allies, particularly Israel.

Let the rest of the world know we have the mightiest fighting force in the world and we will unleash it if need be with a quick response that will light up your sky like the 4th of July.

The enemy respects a strong military force and if they fear you they will respect you.

3) Fiscal conservancy

Pass a dang balanced budget and cut our taxes. Cut the fat! Reign in pork barrel spending! Lower taxes! Cut the deficit! Assume a position of authority on this subject.

My personal budget goes all to heck if I spend more than I make, why can’t we expect the same from our government of whom on average we send 20 to 50 percent of our income too. We call ourselves one of the wealthiest nations in the world based on our GDP, yet we are 16 trillion and growing in debt. We are broke! We are bankrupt!

Plan to decrease the beuracracy and eliminate wasteful and unconstitutional departments. Show the US some value in me sending a great portion of our hard earned money to the government, reassure me it will be spent wisely.

4) Put the fight back in the dog.

The one constant thing I keep hearing about Mitt Romney is that he too easily backs down from a fight or doesn’t stand up strong on the issues. He is not unlike a dog that is on a shock collar. Even after the shock collar is removed he looks around like he is gonna bark but withdrawals and retreats from barking further because it may be painful or uncomfortable for him. But if he just went ahead and barked he may realize the collar is not constraining his desire to bark.

The people want a man or woman with some spunk and vitality. Not over the top, just passionate about his or her platform.

5) Realize women call the shots

The women run things period! Momma aint happy nobody happy! My wife and my mom are the two least people that I want to piss off. The right has done a poor job of tapping into a woman’s creativity and ability to run a nation and have dismissed them and have resigned them to a mere support role.

A woman can do more before daylight than most established GOP elected men can do in a lifetime. Harness this power, understand them, use their knowledge of organization and structure to run this country and promote them up through the ranks. They are naturals!

There is a reason that more women were elected to key seats than at any time in our history this last election. They have the ability. They know how to get the job done and do it very well. And also they have a hormone thing that turns them into super women for a week out of the month which could serve us very well dealing with a dictator or for pushing a new bill through the senate or house.

Women are also tired of seeing this country ran by less than manly men. If you happen to be a man and in office, realize you haven’t done such a great job the last 250 years or so.

Oh yeah, and keep your pants up! The last thing a woman wants to do is consider casting a vote for someone who reminds them of an ex. Being elected to office shouldn’t automatically elevate you in your mind to Greek God status feeding grapes to your harem nor does being elected by your peers give you the right to do so. The exception being Harry Reid on the left, sorry about that visual.

6) Reach out to the kids, apply the ABCs

It is as simple as ABC for reaching our kids. A-Acknowledge they are our future, exist and are very important for our future, B- Be there to listen to them when they speak, C- Care about their issues.

Sure it is easy to dismiss a child and what they have to say as irrelevant or lacking understanding. Kids these days are attuned to what is going on in our world and they understand more than you think. We must reach out and touch the kids and ask them to contribute. Remember the curly headed, smelly, zit faced 8th grader is your voting block in 2016 and beyond. They are also dying to vote for someone that looks more like them and that understands them.

8) Replace the fossils, infuse the party with new blood and get rid of stinking thinking.

Which brings me to my next subject. A young face with new fresh hip ideas. Tres Wittum comes to mind! Look him up! Good looking, well dressed, young and willing to listen. (He would probably be embarrassed by these comments but he is more of what we need.) Sally Absher, TN state Executive Committee woman, a female, well spoken and versed on issues that are relevant to our cause on the right. Bobbie Partray, we all could learn from this person. Tres impressed me recently when he posted on Facebook recently and I took away from the posts that something is awry within the GOP and something must change. It may be time for him to launch his political endeavors. Notice I didn’t say career, we don’t need career oriented politicians, we need Americans who are going to stand up and be accountable and if it means pushing off the old outdated party, so be it.

7) Don’t rain on the rainbow warriors parade

Face it! The alternative lifestyle is a big portion of our landscape and they are very passionate about the issues. The homosexuals are a huge voting block and are demanding their voices be heard.

Ok, I know I take a risk here with socially conservative (gotta get rid of that word conservative) folks who will say they are sinners and they are going straight to hell!!!! Well aren’t we all sinners and werent we all going to hell the day we became accountable? Doesn’t the blood of Jesus cover all our sins and isn’t it good enough for all sinners?

Whew! I’m gonna hear the flak on this one. Allow me to finish please. What better way to reach “sinners” than to accept them into your flock and show them a kind and gentle God who had the ability and is willing to love all his sinners, his creation. I believe in the common theme worn by many youth on their wrists for years “What would Jesus do?” Ask your self this the next time you want to harm one of them. I think you know the answer.

8) Get rid of the religious nut jobs, give our churches a voice

The Church and it’s leaders have lost their way. The UN has infiltrated them with lofty goals of eradicating poverty through a deceptive MDGs or Millenium Development Goals and have stripped them of their ability to speak out of fear of losing their tax status.

This is such a sad statement that the church has allowed themselves to be muted from their pulpit because they fear speaking up and losing a little money. After all, in these tough times the church should be there for us everyday, in our hearts, not in some log jammed coporatacracy of what used to be a church. Remember, this is why you were granted this luxury of a tax exemption.

We have to release them and encourage them to allow them a hand in re shaping our future by influencing Christians in this country and in their congregations.

Abortion? I will simply say we need a consistent voice on this subject. Many young people are being pulled on this issue and our message must be clear and distinct. Do away with the rhetoric about it. No mixed messages.

9) Get rid of the word conservative or grassroots

The label conservative does not have the same meaning it did 3 years ago when I started my activism. The conservative of old meant you believed in less government, less taxes and more freedom. Now, everyone is a conservative! When the GOP took over and infiltrated the many Tea Parties and conservative groups with their big money machine and heavy influence we lost our way. Neo cons, RINOS even the left is calling themselves conservative. They have diluted it’s meaning. We are all now conservative and we all can’t be, we just can’t, it doesn’t work that way.

10) Resonate with the black and minority voters.

The GOP is about as white as the driven snow that is falling on the East coast today. Have you ever been to a GOP convention or meeting or even a Tea Party or Liberty meeting for that matter? White, all white. Not that it is intentional or we are racist but that it is the product of our involvement. Our message does not include them. They, for some reason are not hearing a message that resonates with them.

Take poor ole Allen West for instance. Black man with big cahunas and a strong voice and he can’t muster enough votes to at the time of this writing to swing a win inside whiteys world. A disconnect here and it must be fixed.

Just as Madea, the lead character of many Tyler Perry films might say to the GOP “you better rec-o-nize fool!” Tapping into this very passionate block of patriots who have seen tough times and are not willing to forget is an essential place to be.

Reach out to this group, find common ground ask them where we have gone errant, re structure and embrace them while succumbing to their needs and desires. They are strong Americans looking to be led or to lead the flock, give them this opportunity.

I know I said 10, consider this one a bonus.

11) get rid of the excessive lobbyist, big-money corporate types and NGOs off the floors and in the hallways of the House floor and The Senate.

We dont need our elected officials taking bribes in a hallway from a corporate lobbyists to protect their interest. Put a 250 foot barrier around our elected officials offices and state houses and ask them to have no access to our representative bodies. After all, we can gripe all day about a bill or issue but if a guy in a fancy suit slips our rep with an unknown dollar donation, no wander we can get anything done to the contrary.

Summation:

I am only a blogger and activist. These comments above are only my opinions based on my observations. They do not represent a group or a party. They are only my opinions and thought.

Chew me up and spit me out if you wish but remember I have a personality disorder that relishes being in the fray, I find comfort and an odd peacefulness there. It makes me feel alive and in a wierd way sorta like channeling a modern day Patrick Henry type patriotism.

Our system is broken, the GOP is floundering and we have too many elitist running this country and the party of the so called right are completely out of touch and have lost their way.

I will end here! What we are doing to overcome the lefts punch is not working! Here is my submitted plan. Will anyone take the ball and run or will we simply stay in our comfort zone and lose again soundly in 2016.

My parting words,

IT AIN’T WORKING! GET YOUR SPIT TOGETHER AND DO SOMETHING DIFFERENT OR GET OFF THE POT AND LET AMERICA SAVE ITS SELF !!!!

Haslams appointee Samar Ali interned for “Arab Bank” that laundered money to Hamas

In Government on August 13, 2012 at 8:54 AM

Governor Haslams appointee to Tennessee Economic and Development Council appointee Samar Ali interned for the International Arab Bank and during her time there the bank was investigated and found guilty of laundering money in the 10s of millions to support suicide bombers of Hamas, the al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigade, the Palestinian Islamic Jihad and the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine. This recent appointment by Governor Haslam can’t make the Jewish community sleep well at night!

The New York based Holy Land Foundation was the US link to spread their money to terrorist based organizations like Hamas in the US and abroad, a close associate of the Arab Bank. Governor Haslam has now hired Mrs Ali, a Sharia Compliance expert to work within our own government.
http://www.israellawcenter.org/page.asp?id=335&show=reports2

Mrs. Ali’s resume reflects her career path, the Internet can provide the rest by googling International Arab Bank and Holy Land Foundation.

Many Arab banks get away with “zakat” or “charity” as money to fund terrorists because for one it is “not politically correct” to say anything about it and two it is so layered with very little accountability as to where the money goes. Noone could possibly keep up with all the transactions or where it ends up. This I am sure is by design.

These charges saying the Arab Bank funneled and laundered money to terrorist organizations is part of an international and US investigation that has resulted in stiff fines and further investigation and monitoring of activity. In fact some charges are still ongoing and are expected to return further charges.

Samar Ali’s resume posted on Linkedin shows she was associated with Arab bank and other suspicious organizations, “rotating through various banking agencies” with links to middle east oil, terrorist organizations and perhaps big oil companies in Tennessee. What were those various banking agencies? No one has asked that question nor has an answer been provided.

More on her association with the International Arab Bank and the Holy Land Foundation from a very interesting blog (which is listed at the bottom of this article and I encourage you to visit this site every chance you get for it is truly the leading authority on this subject)

While offering the same sanitized information as that coming from the Governor’s office, Rep. Debra Maggert (who has recently been relieved of her duties by her constituency) has suggested to her constituents who have questioned Ms. Ali’s appointment that they are simply overreacting.  Both she and Governor Haslam (who supported her in the primary and clearly needs to go because of his lapse in judgement) are appropriately focused on job creation.  As Rep. Maggert recently stated, “I’m squarely focused on the priorities of my voters: job creation and economic development” and help[ing] the private sector develop more job opportunities for Tennesseans.”

One question that neither Rep. Maggert nor the Governor are asking though, is, at what cost, in particular, the long-term cost to the foundation of our liberties?  Some have even questioned whether the Governor’s family Pilot gas business may be clouding his judgment.

If you go back to Newsletter #20 (from the link below) a reference is made to Samar Ali’s bio in the World Islamic Economic Forum (WIEF) booklet.  This bio as well as a June 2010 Hogan Lovells press release, note that before joining the firm in 2007, Ms. Ali worked as a legal intern for the Islamic International Arab Bank in Amman, Jordan.

http://tn4politicaljustice.wordpress.com/2012/06/22/newsletter-22-the-islamic-international-arab-bank/

Articles detailing a lawsuit filed in 2004 which is still on-going in 2012 involving this bank, refer to it by the shorthand “the Arab Bank”.  Information in Ms. Ali’s bio suggest that she was working at the bank during the pendency of the lawsuit.

In short, the lawsuit alleges that Arab Bank maintained financial links and funding for organizations and individuals involved in terrorism.  Specifically, it is alleged that Arab Bank enabled funding by wealthy Saudis to reach U.S.- named terrorist groups such as Hamas. Additionally, it is alleged that the money was used to induce volunteers for suicide bombing missions by making payoffs to their survivors.

The lawsuit states that Arab Bank financed Palestinian terrorism by “paying a ‘comprehensive insurance benefit’ of around $5,300 to families of suicide bombers on behalf of the Saudi Committee, a government-run charity”, and that financial records reflect that the committee wired this amount of money into accounts that families were told to set up at the Arab Bank.  It was reported that approximately 200,000 wire transfers were made totaling more than $90 million dollars.

Not only had the Justice Department started a criminal investigation in 2004, but in 2007, the bank was sued in a New York federal court by Americans and Israelis who had been injured by suicide bombers whose families had accounts at the Arab Bank.  The bank refused to disclose certain client records claiming protection under Jordan’s bank secrecy laws.  In July 2010, a federal District court judge ruled against the bank holding that Lebanon and Jordan’s privacy rules are void in matters involving terror financing.

A lengthy piece published in 2010 examined the bank’s annual reports and other related documents and reported the following:

A 2005 release fromm the U.S. Office of the Comptroller of the Currency and Financial Crimes Enforcement Network accused the bank of “failing to adequately control suspicious activity and for not maintaining proper anti-money laundering programs.” (the bank paid a $24 million fine for these violations)
A review of the bank’s annual reports over time reflected a strong connection between the political positions of the bank’s founders and the “provision of banking services to Hamas years after they were named terrorists.”
The 1964 annual report “celebrated” the founding of the Palestinian Liberation Organization and its mission as noted by the bank’s chairman to “return [the] occupied part of Palestine to the Arabs”
In 1968 the chairman’s message in the annual report cautioned that the Zionists posed a threat to the entire Arab world and that Arabs needed to “…sacrifice the lives and offer the money needed for the self-defense and for the liberation of their sacred places and all their occupied territories.”
More specifically, the suit alleged that at least 7 separate accounts “for Hamas-linked so-called charitable foundations facilitated the rapid transfer of donations (given by Arabs as zakat, a mandatory charitable tithe), between valid and efficient social-service groups and their sister organizations, the armed units that carry out the bombing attacks.” The suit claimed that Arab Bank used Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad “martyr kits” to make the payments to survivors of the suicide bombers.

With regard to zakat, one document titled “Calculating Zakah” found on the Amana Mutual Funds website (Amana is considered the leading shariah compliant mutual fund group in the U.S., see also Newsletter #16), has a section titled “Who Receives Zakah?”.  This section has a list including the category “in the cause of God (fi sabilillah)” which in the index in Reliance of the Traveller, cross-references to the section on “Jihad”. This is further explained by, section h8.0 in the Reliance entitled “Giving Zakat to Deserving Recipients”; section h8.17 is specifically designated for “those fighting for allah” (jihadist combatants) ”), and their families (e.g., support for families of suicide bombers).

Looking at Ms. Ali’s past political and professional accomplishments, such as co-founding the Vanderbilt Middle Eastern Student Association with a Saudi undergraduate and then later on working on behalf of the Palestine Diabetes Institute, one has to wonder where this “lifelong Tennessean born and raised in Waverly” (as described by Governor Haslam), developed her passion for all things Palestinian and Arab?

In a strange twist of irony, it seems that Samar’s father, Subhi Ali shares the same pro-Palestinian anti-Israel sentiment as those associated with the Arab Bank’s lawsuit.

Regardless of your opinion on this subject one very strong opinion resonates from this blog and my mother still says it to this day and I even tell my kids on occasion “you are known by the company you keep!” For example, If I hang around and frequently visit a church, I am going to be associated with that church. If I hang around and intern at an international Arab bank that has been convicted of laundering money to and in support of Hamas suicide bombers then I am know by that association.

At the very least this should be investigated and Governor Haslam forced to answer questions instead of sweeping it under the rug just because a few people says it doesnt exist or isn’t politically correct.

That simple denial used to work before the Internet and it’s descriptive revelations that are easily revealed within a google search, not anymore. The truth can be easily seen and a simple naysayer no longer has influence.

We live in very dangerous times and breaches of our government security by anyone especially a Governor of our state should not go unanswered. We are hearing report that the Muslim Brotherhood has infiltrated DC and the White House and has many tentacles all the way into local government. Could this possibly be one of those tentacles? Why are we ignoring it and not connecting the dots? I would rather err on the side of national security than choose to watch as our country becomes unsafe at a time when it calls for us to be cautious.

Remember these opinions are mine and mine only! I like them that way! Read and re read the data above and see if you form an opinion just like mine. It might make some sense to ya!

Visit the site below frequently and tell your friends about it. This person has more insight than I could imagine.

Bradley County GOP strongly opposes Wheel Tax, it’s citizens agree

In Government on May 24, 2012 at 11:25 AM

I’m not sure what is going on with the Bradley County GOP under the leadership of David Smith and perhaps a distant influence of Sally Absher, but I think I like it! I’m kinda blushing at the affection I am feeling for the the local GOP who has put on their big girl panties or as they say in the deep south…….has grown a pair!

The GOP boldly stating they were against a news tax increase because we are already 64 million in the hole and not wanting another 32 million dumped into the hole is very welcome news. Lets get our houses in order before we hit up the citizens for more of their hard earned money. Low taxes, less government and more freedom! I believe these guys have finally gotten it! I think they are seeing the big picture.

The next step is to get all those RINOs that have saturated our local government to get in step with their own party or get out of the way. Many of the self proclaimed Republicans are nothing more than leftist who have not outed themselves yet.

The GOP has made several bold statements lately but our left leaning city council and county commission have yet to join in the revolution.

The GOP both locally and statewide have made some strides toward giving back control to the citizens, the way it should be. Many “in power” are afraid they will upset someone or knock someone off center where they find great comfort.

Our leaders are paralyzed by the web of the Machine that has great influence on their decisions. The Chamber, the many hand selected boards and committees have crippled our current leaders and have rendered them nothing more than fuel for special interest groups with a wheel barrel of money or a returned favor!

What you are doing with our county is no longer being viewed as popular or the proper path to lead our people. Consensus is no longer your game changer. Many today are no longer jumping through a hoop just because you say so. Many are thinking freely and making their own decisions before they look to their leaders. You have even stepped out of favor with your own party. Its way past time for change.

The good ole boy network is about to be disrupted in Bradley County. That place when the pressure is on them to perform they dip down into that comfort zone of likeminded bureaucrats, that den of wolves, where they lay in waiting, and bite off the head of a patriot who dares say NO! The vilification of the citizens by these guys is the saddest part of it all and begs to be condemned.

“Fresh faces” in Cleveland and Bradley County is way overdue and the time is right for sweeping change! Either you get on board with the citizens or step aside.

America and Bradley County are sliding way too fast off the non socialist grid to be playing pansy mansy with the citizens of our County with no long term fixes and only band aids for solutions.! We need to stand up as the GOP of late has done and get with the program. We cant continue on the path we are going, certain doom is forseeable.

Let’s stand up for what we believe in! We have stood by and watched too long. It’s way past time for our elected leaders to step up also and assist in the fight instead of hindering our efforts.

Time is precious and we don’t have much left! Thanks Bradley County GOP, it’s refreshing to see change, now just grab the elected officials by the collar and bring them along with you! Now and quick!

Saying NO to new taxes is a great start and shows commitment by the GOP to the Bradley County Citizens.

GOP says ‘no’ to wheel tax

by DAVID DAVIS, Managing Editor
The Bradley County Republican Party has passed a resolution opposing the wheel tax proposed by the Bradley County Commission and supported by the Cleveland City Schools.

The Cleveland City Council voted 5-2 in support of placing the referendum on the Aug. 2 ballot, but did not offer support for its passage. Also, the Bradley County School Board has not supported it as a body, but board chair Charlie Rose and Bradley County Director of Schools Johnny McDaniel have spoken publicly in support of the tax increase.

Bradley County Republican Party Chair David Smith said the local party traditionally hasn’t taken a stand on issues, “but we felt it was time to speak up.”

He said the National Republican Party stands firm in supporting low taxes and recognizes low taxes and economic prosperity go hand in hand. The resolution states, “Republicans across this great nation are fighting against liberal economic ideology, higher taxes and out of control spending at all levels of our government. Bradley County is currently $78 million in debt with $64 million of that debt being education-related; and the estimated generated revenue from the wheel tax dollars will simply be a revenue stream used to borrow an additional $32 million and place a huge debt upon future generations.”

Bradley County Republican Party Vice-Chair Debbie Williams said, “There has to be another solution. Have we not learned from our national debt debacle? We went through this debate in Bradley County back in 2009 with the sales tax increase. In reality, only oneh generations of our county.”
The 2011 U.S. Census estimates the opulation of Bradley County at 100,068, which is up from the 98,963 people counted in the 2010 Census. Both school systems have reported increased growth, with the city school system reporting 340 new students over the last 18 months.
